The Ktinos race, descendants of the God Beasts who mated with humans once ruled the earth with their overwhelming power and strength. Even with their little numbers, they were powerful enough to make the most powerful human warriors and scocerers bow in submission.

Lucien was born of an average god beast bloodline amongst the Ktinos race but even then he lived a comfortable life full of pride and adventure, with the dream to become powerful enough to serve the beast emperor but tragedy struck when the humans revolted, wiping out most of the beast men.

Forced to live as an outcast amongst the humans, Lucien struggles to cope with the injustice and abuse beast men are subjected to and in his final moments of life, his luck changed when he was granted a system by a greater being.

Lucien kept breathing heavily with the terribly pale Brian in his arms. His right hand which was used to channel the lightning spell was burnt beyond recognition, filled with blisters deep wounds.
