Dean, hew was their old friend and companion.
When they were new to raiding dungeons he introduced them to everything and was even their party member for some time.
But of course he was too old now and wanted to live an calm life, not raiding dungeons.
So he opened his own shop, selling and buying all things related to monsters & magic, which is also the shop name.
"Welcome everyone, good to see you!", Dean said with a gentle smile on his face.
Everyone greeted him back nicely.
Then John directly wanted to talk about the main topic, the reason they were here.
"Hey Dean, would you now take a look at the egg?", John asked.
"Of course I am going to, hand it over and place it on the platform next to the counter", Dean answered.
Hearing that, Tyler put his bag on the floor, took the egg out and placed it in the middle of the platform.

Dean casted an magic spell and some numbers randomly started to appear in the air.
Some minutes later the machine was finished and showed a specific number: "00001".
"What the hell!", Dean suddenly had a shocking expression on his face.
Following that he asked in an shocked but somewhat scared manner: "Where did you find this egg, do you even have the slightest idea of what you have done!"
Tyler asked what's going on and what was so special about it. Of course he knew that an monster egg was very valuable and that was also the reason why they celebrated in the adventurers guild building the day before, but still.
There was not any reason someone would have to react to an monster egg like this, was there?
"You have to know that the numbers of the machine are sorted from strongest to weakest. Number 00000 would be an celestial being like an god, angel and so on, basically immortals! They are so powerful that the magic array can not distinguish between the different types of immortal beings.", Dean started to explain.
"The same goes for the numbers 00001 to 00009, do you now understand?", he said.
Tyler asked: "So this monster is really powerful?".
"Powerful? POWERFUL?!", Dean was about to explode.
"THIS IS A DRAGON EGG, THE SECOND MOST POWERFUL BEING AFTER GODS AND ANGELS!!!".
They all were happy that they found something so valuable.
When Dean saw this he said coldly: "This egg must belong to elder dragons...", he did not need to say anything more.
Everyone was shocked, Jenna,Jack and the other 2 party members even fainted.
Only John and Tyler were still standing upright, but their mind did go blank.
What were they going to do about it, if they didn't handle the situation in the right way and fast, the dragons would break free from the dungeon and destroy everything in search for their egg.
It felt like their life was over...!
