Deep within Heaven's Fortress was not only the main body of the Little Ghost but also a branch of the Little Sapling. This branch followed Heaven's Fortress and the Little Ghost to this world, essentially acting as the main body of the Little Sapling in this world.
The other World Trees were grown from its seeds, merely its offspring.
