Leaving the area where the Fog Whale resides, Negris finally couldn't hold back and asked, "Why did you ask it that last question?"
Anthony seemed to have gained a lot from this trip, but despite such a gain, he insisted on asking that last question. Could there be something special about that question?
Anthony said, "I wanted to determine its 'funding' source."
"Funding?" Negris noticed Anthony's deliberate emphasis on the word.
"Yes, when it comes to large transactions, the source of funding can reveal a lot. For small transactions, funds can be acquired from anywhere, but for large transactions, the sources are limited—either banks, commerce guilds, or pooling resources. Different sources indicate different things, and the Fog Whale's physical form is equivalent to large funds; it couldn't have gathered it by itself," Anthony explained.
