Anthony hadn't been gone long when Durken came to Ange: "Sir, I'm applying to have the Insect God assist me."
Ange tilted his head.
"I measured it with a hardness gauge; this thing is too hard to cut. I want the Insect God to assist me in concocting an acid that can erode it," Durken said, pointing at the items brought back from the Void Boundary.
Ange nodded, took out a meatball from the Space-Time Domain, and threw it onto the ground. Immediately, some roots and stems grew from the meatball, propping it up, and then it opened its eyes.
"Hemel? You've combined it with a Deceit Tree? Why does it look so ugly?" Negris complained.
Ange shook his head: "Mattis."
Ange had two Insect Gods, Hemel and Mattis. Mattis belonged to the God of Devouring Life; after transforming into the Insect God its intelligence was a bit low, lacking Hemel's cleverness, so Ange usually didn't call it.
