The Exotic Ghost's vision turned black momentarily, and its body froze for an instant. The Monarch seized this moment, slashed with his scythe, splitting the Exotic Ghost's face in two.
The Exotic Ghost let out a piercing wail as its face, now in two halves, turned into two shadows and charged towards the Monarch from the left and right.
One of the faces suddenly opened a single eye, which glowed red and glared at the Monarch.
The Monarch immediately sealed his soul, yet his scythe remained unchanged in form, slashing towards one half of the face.
However, when he unsealed his soul and looked around, the two halves of the face were nowhere to be seen. It turned out that the other had already escaped while he was sealing his soul.
A fierce energy wave came from behind. Turning his head to look, he saw that both halves of the face had moved behind him, with one half desperately fleeing, and the other locked in combat with a gigantic hand.
