I mean, you said the adventurer hall has owners, and there are eight adventurer halls. So, eight different owners, right? Has she only signed contracts with you all?"
"The eight adventurer halls are divided among three owners," the guard commander answered quietly, lowering his voice. "Sir, I understand what you mean. But the word has spread. Linlopes won't find a single adventurer hall willing to sign with her. She's on the blacklist for every adventurer hall. If you really want to take up tasks, it's best not to get too close to her. Otherwise, people will have concerns. After all, you might be the same type of person. You're a Blood Elf—I can tell your magic is pretty decent. Not as terrifying as a dragon, but still lethal when something goes wrong."
As he spoke, the guard commander straightened up and stared at Andrew meaningfully.
