"It seemed like this," the Lich nodded skeptically.
"But now we are facing a division."
"Are we?"
"Remember last night? The meeting last night, we couldn't even reach a consensus. I believe that you all are steadfast supporters of justice."
"Of course."
"But not all of us are steadfast in supporting justice and believing in the Holy Light. Many are just enjoying the benefits of justice. If humans know that father is gone, if humans become divided, if our actions are not praised, if all our efforts face negative feedback, then...how many of us will waver?"
All of a sudden, the Liches were stunned.
After a while, Bruto quietly said, "You're right, I think Simon isn't as steadfast as I am."
The Liches present nodded in agreement.
