"Ma'am, It's already ten in the evening. Are you not planning to go home?" Keteki asked as Faridah stared at him. "I don't know Keteki, Home sound suffocating." Faridah said as Keteki smiled knowing that she is bothered about Kyle.
"If your worried about him you should at least go and check on him." Keteki said as Faridah stared at her phone. She didn't receive a single message from Kyle and now she's bothered by Kyle ignoring her presence.
Shoji called Faridah as Faridah sighed and took the call.
"What it is now Shoji?" Faridah asked on the phone. "I think Kyle is coming to Alaska with Kathrine." Shoji said on the phone.
"What do you mean by that Shoji? Isn't Kathrine going to have a tour in-"
"She cancel all her plans."
"Is Kyle with her?!" She asked as Shoji don't know what to answer as he watch Kyle entering Kathrine's car as they are on they're way to the airport.
"I think so..." he answered as he cannot give a specific answer as Kathrine is also her client. "Kyle asked me something about the organization that his father joined and the consequences if his father didn't die." Shoji added.
"How did he know that stuff?"
"I guess Kathrine told him. I don't know how the both of them met here in Canada but it seems like he made a deal with Kathrine in exchange for meeting me to ask those questions." he said as Faridah clenched her jaw.
"Did he take off his ring?" she asked as Shoji remembered how the blue diamond shine on his hands while talking to him.
"No Ma'am...." he answered. "Then let him be, Let's not meddle with the two of them. Thank you for the report Shoji, I will send your paycheck today." she said as she turn off the phone call.
"Keteki, Can you do me a favor?" Faridah asked as Keteki bow down his head.
"I think I need to go to the hospital, Don't tell my parents about this I don't think they'll be calm if they knew." she said as Keteki nodded.
"Are you sick Ma'am?" Keteki asked as Faridah smirked.
"I haven't been eating for awhile and sleep is not necessary during the flight. I think I'm in my limit now." Faridah said as she collapsed on her table. Keteki sigh as he immediately call an ambulance.
In the Alaska where Kyle was with Kathrine, Kathrine requested to play with Kyle together with her dog for a week since she didn't have anyone to play with her.
"You promise that we will only play and nothing more Kathrine. You know that I am still Faridah's man." Kyle said as Kathrine nodded.
"I thought you will quit being her man after hearing everything from Shoji." Kathrine said as Kyle didn't answer.
"Shoji is a nice lawyer, We get along pretty well. He knows how to handle his job and he is also someone that I look up to." Kathrine said.
"I know the age gap is pretty wild but hey... Age doesn't matter after all." She giggled.
"You like him?" Kyle asked as Kathrine nodded. "At first I kinda see Keteki and Shoji as cool people."
She smiled as she ordered her butler to make them a tea. "But Keteki is married and is hopelessly devoted to his wife. Their love story is not something that I can messed up with my spoiled tantrums." She said as she sat down on the table and smiled at Kyle.
"To be honest a man would go far from anything to the woman they love. Are you not that type of person?" Kathrine asked Kyle as the server served the tea.
"I only get to know Faridah because I thought that it would save us from the debt that my father left but knowing everything now it just made me feel bad to trust the Hamilton again since they were the people that gave me this trauma and horrible life." Kyle answered as Kathrine smile.
"You seem like a promising man. I bet you are someone that Faridah find amusing to keep by her side." Kathrine said as she signal her butler to bring the papers.
"But if you ever change your mind I can help you escape the Hamilton's grasp. You'll just have to sign this contract." She said smirking as Kyle's eyes widen.
In the hospital where Faridah is in bed for three days unconscious. Her parents were mad by Keteki hiding her situation from them since they only knew about it because of the posted article.
"Did she have to push herself this far?!" Mr. Alexander Hamilton asked as Mrs. Hamilton cried in the corner.
"I'm sorry about this sir but lately during the flight I noticed that the madame doesn't eat any foods anymore unless if it was Kyle's cooking." Keteki said as Faridah's parents look at each other.
"What do you mean by that Keteki?" Mrs. Felix asked as Keteki cannot find a word to explain the situation.
"Are you saying that Faridah is starving herself and refusing to eat?" Mrs. Hamilton asked as Keteki slowly nodded since he noticed how Faridah just played with her food and asked him to just throw it all out after.
Shoji barged in the room as everyone was stunned by his appearance.
"Kyle... K-Kyle is in Alaska with Kathrine." He said panting as Faridah's parents look worried about it.
"If Faridah hears this out she might just wish to die in this hospital bed." Mrs. Felix said as she smiled sadly.
Knowing Kathrine if he gets herself a toy that she likes she would use all her powers to get out since her family's business is one of the assets that the Hamilton have today to the point that they had acquired a research team in Alaska.
"Kathrine is someone we shouldn't mess with..." Mr. Alexander said as they all went silent.
"I'll talk to Kyle, Take me to Alaska." Mrs. Gabriella Greyson appeared on the door. "I'm sorry I don't want to cause any trouble from the Hamilton's but let me talk to my son. He's my son after all." She pleaded.
"Kyle have his own choice..." Faridah said as everyone looked at her.
"You don't need to convince him to come back, He's my man after all he'll come back to me." Faridah said firmly as Mrs. Felix looked worried about her.
"Faridah, If Kyle signed up with Kathrine you know that we cannot cross the boundaries."Mrs. Hamilton said as Faridah clenched her fist.
"Faridah...Please atleast think about-" Mr. Alexander couldn't finished.
"AS LONG AS KYLE ANTHONY GREYSON IS WEARING HIS RING THEN I WILL WAIT FOR HIS RETURN!" Faridah shouted as everyone was silent.
'The boss cannot think of anything negative towards her lover Kyle. She hopes and believe that he we'll come back eventually but her parents wanted her to also think about the possibilities like what if Kyle sign up with Kathrine since he went to Alaska with her.' Keteki thought as Faridah asked everyone to leave except for Shoji.
"Shoji..." Faridah called as Shoji walks closer towards her.
"What is it?" He asked.
"Shoji, Break the bridge if Kyle will choose Kathrine over me." She said as Shoji was stunned.
"Are you sure about this Faridah? You know how well your business will go down to worst if we try to fight with that spoiled brat. She might be a kid but her mindset with no mercy is something that we shouldn't take lightly." He said as Faridah smiled at him.
"I know... It's just..."
Shoji was out of words as Faridah starts crying. It was his second time seeing her cry again.
'I see... He's someone that she starts to trust and treasure, Just like what happened back then to her ex anthony.' he said as he remember it to well.
"I took down the organization, there were a total of thirty number of businessman died that day. I will take care of the paper works and compensation process." Shoji explained yet Faridah is not paying attention to him.
"Faridah, are you even listening?" He asked as Faridah looked at him with tired eyes as her tears drop.
"Faridah...." Shoji said as he handed her a tissue.
Shoji didn't say a word that day and just stayed by Faridah's side.
'I guess she really loved that guy to cry and be weak in front of me.' Shoji thought as Faridah kept on crying that day.
"If breaking the bridge that connects you and Kathrine in business is something that you want then I will do everything in my power to help you Faridah." Shoji said as Faridah nodded.
"As long as Kyle is wearing his ring..." Faridah whispered.
'Why does she kept talking about the ring?' Shoji asked himself confuse.
"Kathrine is not something to be taken lightly. She will do all means to get what she wants." Shoji said as Faridah smirked.
"What she wants is not Kyle." Faridah said as Shoji was confuse. "What do you mean by that?" He asked.
"What she wants is your attention Shoji."
