"General Xu, are you serious?" Xue Muqi asked hesitantly.
"Of course I'm serious. How long will it take to slaughter the cattle?" Xu Fang inquired.
Xue Muqi replied, "Beef is a bit troublesome. After slaughter, it needs to hang for seven days to age before it can be sold; otherwise, the meat will be tough. If I start preparing today, the earliest you could sell the meat is in eight days. If we go full force with the slaughter, we can average two thousand head a day. I estimate it will all be done in ten days."
Xu Fang nodded. "Then let's do as you say. Arrange for people to start the slaughter. Oh, and you can start raising those one hundred thousand head of cattle now. I can pay a deposit."
"Shouldn't we see if the first twenty thousand head sell out first?" Xue Muqi kindly reminded him.
