Xu Ke walked across the business plaza and took the elevator at the back up to the twenty-sixth floor of the office building. An antique-style signboard greeted him: Triumph Pavilion.
As soon as he stepped out of the elevator, a waiter came forward. "Hello, you must be Mister Xu?"
"That's me," Xu Ke nodded.
"Miss Wang has already made the arrangements. Please follow me."
"Okay."
Xu Ke surveyed his surroundings as he followed the waiter. After a series of twists and turns, they arrived at a private room. The waiter excused himself, and Xu Ke pushed the door open.
The first person he saw was Wong Qifu. Her black curly hair was draped over her shoulders, and a light-blue, off-the-shoulder top revealed her delicate collarbones. However, her originally charming face now appeared somewhat haggard; it was clear she had a rough night. Still, her exhaustion couldn't hide her radiance. She was stunningly beautiful.
She was sitting at the table. "Come and sit down."
