By the time they reached Jiufang Business Center, Wong Qifu got out of the car first. Xu Ke, after helping Tang Yingchang park, followed closely behind.
Seeing Xu Ke approaching alone, Wong Qifu asked curiously, "Isn't Elder Tang coming?"
"He felt a bit cooped up and wanted to wander around nearby," Xu Ke said. "He told me to just let him know if anything came up."
Given the time and the busy mall, Xu Ke reckoned no one would cause trouble, so he felt at ease letting Tang Yingchang go off on his own. Of course, the main reason was that his own strength had increased significantly, and he could now afford to disregard most attacks.
"Really? What about dinner? Aren't we calling him?" Wong Qifu glanced at Xu Ke, mulling over his words. Something felt fishy.
"We'll eat by ourselves. Elder Tang said his appetite wasn't great lately and he wanted some hot soup. I told him I'd reimburse him, so I let him eat wherever he wanted," said Xu Ke, without blinking.
