A day passed by very quickly.
「Morning.」
Xu Ke sat at the dining table, smiling as he looked at Wong Qifu. "Why the worried face? Rest assured, I won't die."
Wong Qifu's gaze lowered slightly. "I hope so."
The plan was incredibly dangerous, and Xu Ke's refusal to let Wang Wu accompany him only made Wong Qifu more worried. But she knew there was no other way; the enemy wouldn't take the bait otherwise.
"A whole day has gone by. Have you still not found out what masters Wong Ting and Yan Xuehai have sent over?" Wong Qifu asked again.
"No." Xu Ke shook his head, then added thoughtfully, "Shi Hongda notified me that he only saw two people... Don't worry. It's getting late, I should go."
Hearing Xu Ke's repeated reassurances, Wong Qifu finally let the worry on her face fade, offering a smile. "Go on, then. I'll be waiting for your good news."
