Surtr pierced the Chaos Dragon's chest from behind with his drill. As the beast screamed and struggled, a massive surge of Origin Flames engulfed it. Its Aura, now significantly weakened, could no longer effectively negate or diminish elemental energies, giving Surtr the chance to finish it.

Hundreds of divine magic circles converged in a split second as Surtr conjured a colossal divine spell, engulfing the Chaos Dragon in a devastating nova of origin flames and plasma.

The Origin Flames consumed the beast, rendering its regeneration impossible against these ancient flames. They devoured its flesh and bones, leaving only a large floating fragment, black and red, a Soul Fragment infested with dozens of Chaos Spirits.
"So it's true… as Master said, Ragnarök was indeed the Primordial Dragon of Light, parasitized by hundreds of Chaos Spirits…" Surtr mused. "We once believed Chaos Spirits were indestructible, but they can be destroyed."
