A few minutes before Khan landed on Zoyama's moon, the teams of soldiers all around the celestial body stress-tested their equipment's communication channels, checking whether everything still worked as planned.

The stress tests' outcomes were promising. The Nognes family had spared no effort in building a communication array that could survive Prince Khan's interference. Still, even the best technology in the world had flaws, especially against the chaos element.

Michael was the soldier in charge of the teams stationed around Zoyama's moon. He was a fourth-level warrior, but his status put him closer to noble guards than common specialized troops from a noble family.

Of course, each crew had team leaders who could act on their own, but Michael remained the de facto leader. He had been appointed to the closest structure equipped with a nuke, and the decision to launch it was ultimately his, mostly because the communication array showed a few problems.
