Once Alex and Bladedance left the sect's territory, they went deeper into the core region where there would be fewer people and beasts to distract them from what they were doing.
Once they found a region that was good enough for what they wanted to do, Bladedance had Alex bring her down to the sand. As she landed, she brought out her sword while feeling the region around to see how strong the space was.
"Are we starting right away?" Alex asked in surprise.
"Of course," Bladedance said. "Why should we wait?"
Alex supposed that was true. "What exactly do we do?" he asked. "I imagine you've given it some thought while I was busy cultivating."
Bladedance nodded. "It's simple. I cut through space, open a void, and you stabilize it long enough to take in as much aura as you can from it. I will help too, but since my Intent isn't attuned with the Void, it won't work as well as yours will."
