Bladedance felt her heart beat fast at the moment, her eyes stunned at the sight before her. Alex still slumped before the sand with his head pressed against the ground. The young man had asked to be her disciple.

She had never really thought of getting a disciple. She wasn't against it, but she never actively searched for it either. Many had come, requesting to join her, but even the most talented ones had merely become a subordinate to her, not a true disciple.
However, not a single one of them had ever been as talented as the young man before her. She had never met someone this talented.
Every part of Bladedance's instinctual being told her that she needed to accept him right away. She couldn't let a chance such as this slip out from her fingers.
However, the part that kept her alive was against this. The young man was dangerous.
Not because of who he was, or because of the prophecy.
