Memory flew out of Alex's Soul Space, landing before him in the hall.
Scarlet's mother blinked in surprise. "You should first allow me to explain what I mean by bad," she said. "You should not be too hasty as an Alchemist."
"There's no need, Senior," Alex said. "My pills never turn out bad."
Instantly, Memory split into two more copies of herself, for a total of three. The three sets of ingredients each flew out of their individual boxes and packaging, and flew into each of the corresponding cauldrons where they were going to be made.
Scarlet's mother had been ready to say something, but the sight of what was happening before her was far too surprising for her to speak now. Not only had one cauldron turned into three, Alex had placed all the ingredients immediately into them as well.
She had never seen someone do anything of this sort at all.
There were still more surprises to be had, as Alex had only just begun.
