Feng Rinzhou waited for them in a small room with only one seat.
She did not meet them in a grand hall or a more imposing environment, but rather in her own dwelling.
She sat on a massive seat, her wings unfolded to cover her entirely, leaving only her head poking out at the front. She seemed half-awake and half in cultivation.
As Alex walked in, her eyes narrowed in on him.
"So, this is the Sun God," she said in barely more than a whisper. "I didn't expect you to be so young."
Alex bowed deeply. "Thank you for the compliment, Matriarch. It is an honor to finally meet you."
"Well, if you are truly who you say you are, then the honor is, in fact, mine," the Matriarch said. "Just to be sure, could you prove who you are?"
"Prove that I'm the Sun God?" Alex asked. "I'm afraid I cannot do that on command."
"Oh? But I heard you did something when Ningzhu asked you to," the Matriarch said. "Was I mistaken?"
