Scarlet hid away in Alex's Soul Space again. She would rather stay there than be around the other beasts as a human, which would only draw more looks. Until she was in the human realms, she wasn't safe.
Whisker went with her and quickly got busy with the tons of water that Alex had gotten from the Two Scars back in the Twin Scar Realm. With that water, they could start establishing some ponds and streams, and more importantly, turn most of the barren land habitable again.
Alex hoped to make the entire massive realm within his Soul Space into an alchemy garden. That would take a long time.
In the meantime, just making the barren land hospitable for life alone would be more than enough. There was another problem with that secret realm that he wasn't sure how he could fix.
