Chapter 4 - Prostitution

Mock not the profession,

Which had existed since ancestral times.

For you may never know the irony,

That in your family tree, some of them is one.

Belittle not s/he who is one,

For you know not why s/he had become.

That rather than to kill or steal,

S/he had chosen so to feed their little one(s).

Shame not the one in the profession.

For they're not the one who had trespassed.

And while true, they may have been the one to offer,

S/he wearing the ring was the one who committed.

Their existence, do not disregard.

For as happy and fulfilled you may be,

To the others, who are not,

They're the one who had given comfort.

Mock not the profession,

Which had existed since ancestral times.

For you may never know the irony,

That one day you might become one.
