Thanks to Aerial's appearance, Quillon had managed to avoid being immolated by Gronex's unique skill.
He had not escaped unscathed though and had several serious burns over parts of his body, especially his hands and arms.
It was clear that he had been using his defensive sword skills to keep the flames at bay, but Quillon had paid a price since a few of his fingers were charred black.
"Persistent Healing."
As Marcus forced out all of the mana he had recovered, he used it to cast the best healing spell he was currently capable of.
The results were not apparent immediately, but every second that went by Quillon's lesser burns slowly faded away.
Still, this would not be enough to fix the worst of his wounds. Marcus would have needed to at least cast the regenerate spell for that. Unfortunately, he did not have nearly enough mana to do so.
