"Ugh!" Bolton was lying by the riverbank, spitting out a mouthful of river water under Twenty-Nine's slaps.

A toothy fish was still hanging on his leg, biting his calf bloody and mangled.

Twenty-Nine just glanced at it, pinched its gills, and easily removed the fish.

"Didn't you say the fish in the river don't bite people on rainy days?!" Bolton accused with heartbreak.

Twenty-Nine said, "If I didn't say so, you wouldn't have dared to jump."

"Clearly it was you who pushed me into the river, and can you Black Knight group be any less reliable? The mentor is a scam, the apprentice is even worse," Marquis Bolton was furious.

"Consider yourself lucky. Lao Shiyi didn't kill you outright, only because the Fifth Princess isn't dead yet; otherwise you would have been a corpse by now," Twenty-Nine said carelessly, "Let me have a look."

As he spoke, he touched Bolton's chest and pressed a few times: "Two ribs are broken, it's nothing serious."
