The family look at the grandmother in awe as she continues to tell the tail. "What is the rule of two its mentioned a lot." One of the granddaughters asked. "Ah the rule of two is a curse to correct an imbalanced. Iris has to choose either to kill Anthony or let him live." The old woman said with a chuckle.
"How did she not know about her siren heritage? Even with her memories taken wouldn't she still display behaviors of a siren?" Simon asked making the old woman cackle. "Oh you see she be but quarter Siren. She neh show till she met with Lareas and his siren Tandu." The old woman said. "Will she marry him?" One of the grandchildren asked. "How bout I continue the story for you to find out." She said before looking into the fire. Simon watched her carefully.

I feel the soft brush of the sea weed around me. 'Wake up you have slept long enough.' That voice it couldn't be. Opening my eyes I was laying is tall grass that looked like gold. Sitting up I said my mother Sitting on a swing in a white silk dress that came to her knees. "Come child its time you awaken." Her soft voice spoke again but as I walked closer the woman on the swing was not my mother. It was the lady who was shrouded in white light. The ground opened up beneath me to a black whole. "The rule of two child." Was the last thing I heard before waking on the lake floor. Sitting up I spot my tail black with white patches. I go to swim but was stopped by the flick of someone's tail. "Where are you going sweet water flower." Lareas or rather Tandu said placing me back on the lake floor. "I am trying to make it to the surface people are counting on me. I need to save the supernatural world Lareas. I am the queen of night and have a responsibility to everyone. I will honor the contact and marry you. In return not only will I inlist the help of your people, but the woodlin Elves as well." I said this made him angry. "You don't owe anyone a damb thing Iris. They failed to protect your parents. They left you a sweet woman to make the gruesome and difficult choice, to have Clydesmith killed.

Walking the halls I felt a strange pang in my heart. Iris is crying but why is she crying? "Susan bring the looking glass!" I yelled for a fairy maid. She hands it to me before leaving. "Sir it's not my place but others worry that you are going to far. Queen Iris was acting on what she knew at the time. " she said softly lowering her head. "Be gone before I have that tongue of your cut out." I said before looking at the small mirror. "Show me the Queen!"
I demanded waiting for the replies to stop. I saw her in water with the tail of a siren. She was arguing with someone. Who and how did I not know she had this is ability? "Iris listen to me what happened was not your fault. What the bastard did is on him. He is now turning the supernatural world upside down because he wants to control you.
