Noah could not believe his ears; Erolia too. A bit of silence passed after Ponto revealed his "upper hand," and he appeared to relish the astonishment on Erolia's and Noah's features. Something within him felt excited at that sight.
"Did I hear wrong, or have I gone mad?" Noah said… attempting to mutter, but his words had been audible nonetheless.
"No, you very much heard well," Ponto replied. "I'm faster than you."
Noah's eyes WIDENED at that atrocious statement. The very fact that it was uttered felt like a transgression of the highest order. His whole existence raged.
However, this time it was Ponto's time to feel chills, but more than that, fear. And how could he not? When his opponent began to voice a low chuckle that turned into a razed cackle.
"In all my time as a cultivator, you're the first to have stirred me up in this manner!" Noah exclaimed, featuring a wide, unnatural grin, on his features.
