Chapter 1809 - Valen Jassens

"Great!" Ning said. "Do you have any last thing you want to do within this world? Any last wishes before I send you to the other world?"

"I'm not dying, am I?" the man asked.

"No, just another planet," Ning said.

The man thought with a solemn silence. "There is nothing I want from this life. I have no wishes, nothing. But, there is one thing I should do before I leave. If you would indulge me."

"Sure. What do you want to do?"

Ning accepted the man's request and took him somewhere else. When they arrived, they were standing before a cemetery.

In the middle of the night, there was no one at the cemetery, except for one here or there in the distance.

The man walked in on his own, navigating the complex landscape until he arrived before a few gravestones.

Ning didn't ask who they were for and simply stood to the side, letting the man grieve for whatever loss he had suffered.
