Ning told the two everything aside from the information about Tritus. He phrased the woman's transformation as something similar to his own powers and how he had to kill her.
By the end of his explanation, neither of the two could believe their ears.
"You really killed her," Blake said, not sure how to feel about it.
"Yes," Ning said.
"Do… do you not feel anything?" Melly asked. "You killed a person."
Ning took a moment to look at the two of them and realized that his indifference to the situation must've come off as psychopathic to these people. And maybe they were right. He was psychopathic. But that had come from years of killing many others, so Ning didn't feel much about killing someone, especially when they were evil.
Maybe upon death, they would reincarnate to become a better person.
