Ye Wanwan is the youngest daughter of the Ye Family Head, pampered since childhood, cherished by her father and three brothers, getting whatever she wants. Bai Wei, on the other hand, even though she's the daughter of the Bai Family Head, isn't the only daughter in the Bai Family, and the Bai Family Master favors sons over daughters. So, while she's not exactly mistreated, she only has what's necessary, and nothing more.
Because of this, Bai Wei has always disliked Ye Wanwan. Ye Wanwan is more beautiful, more talented, and most importantly, she has the unconditional love of her family, while Bai Wei has to work hard to earn a little attention from her father.
