"Louise, wake up. You have to eat first before you take your medicine." I heard Jacob say. I opened my eyes slowly and looked at him.
"What time is it?" I asked while my eyes were still closed.
"It's already 7 pm," Jacob replied.
I just nodded and got up. I also brought the medicine as well as the jacket that Marvin and Justin lent me. When we got down, four tables were occupied and RealSeven was also there. We will be with them for this dinner.
I sat next to Laura and my right was Marvin. Jacob sat in front of Marvin. I handed Justine and Marvin the jacket that they lent me but they have refused.
"Thank you," I said briefly.
"You don't need to give it back to us, It's all yours," Marvin said, smiling.M y heart fell again because of that smile.
How can't I resist that smile? My world brightened because of him.
"Really? But it looks like your jackets are expensive." I said while frowning at them.
"We can afford to buy a new one," Justin said, smiling widely at me.
I widened my eyes and laughed. "Are you saying that I don't have enough money to buy expensive things?"
The atmosphere came a bit awkward after I joked. But I was just joking. Isn't it funny? Bad joke.
"I-I'm sorry. Did I offend you?" Justin asked.
"No, no. I wasn't offended." I smiled at him.
"I thought you were offended," Laura whispered.
"I thought you're sarcastic in your words," Haye said.
"No. I wouldn't be offended by such a thing." I said again.
We grabbed some food after that awkward moment. I just want to lie down all day but we still have a lot of activities to do tomorrow. When I got my food, I sat again and closed my eyes while waiting for them.
"Are you okay?" Sheena asked as she sat in her seat.
"Of course," I said lazily.
"Just tell me if you're not okay, we'll go home right away." I heard she say.
I immediately open my eyes. "I don't have a serious illness and I also want our vacation to be happy. Don't mind me, I'll get better."
"Please get better soon," Sheena said seriously. "I mean not soon but, I hope you'll get better tomorrow."
"Yes, I promise that. I will take all my medicine." I said jokingly.
Axel hit me on the arm. "Stupid you might overdose." He sat beside Sheena.
"It's a joke." I laughed out loud.
We eat dinner together. They are very noisy and naughty. I just listen to them and when someone makes funny stories or actions, I will burst out laughing. My gaze averted to Jacob and he's looking at me as well.
"Thank you." I mouthed. A smile plastered across my lips.
He just gave me a thumbs up and smiled at me. I just quietly watched them as I slowly chewing. I'm still drowsy.
"Do you want this?" Marvin asked as he pointed to the pizza placed on his plate.
I stared at him for 5 seconds and slowly nodded. I love pizza and I can't resist it. He handed me the pizza so I immediately ate it. He's taking care of me, silently.
I often see RealSeven checking up on me but I ignore them.
"Louise." I heard Karl call my name. I just looked at him teary-eyed.
"I'm sorry for making you cry. I didn't know that you have a fever." He sounded apologetic.
I smiled at him. "It's okay and honestly I would like to thank you because you listened to me. You were annoying but, you have a good side."
He laughed out loud then looked at me. "You can count on me." He winked. "I don't know you very well but I want you to stay happy and lively."
I squinted my eyes and reading his face as if he's serious from what he said. "If you're sincere then we'll be okay."
"I'm really worried about you. Are you okay?" Ivan asked so I averted my gaze at him.
"Yes. I have no cancer. I just have a fever." I replied. "And Ivan Oppa just enjoy whatever you're doing. You don't have to check up on me every second, minute, and hour. I can take care of myself."
Ivan just nodded but he still didn't seem to be convinced. I just smiled so that he wouldn't ask me anymore. It's embarrassing to have a fever because they keep asking me if I'm fine but I am 100 percent okay. I'm still alive.
They went back to what they were doing and didn't talk to me anymore. I closed my eyes and rested my head on the chair. I'm really weak but I have said I can. I feel that they were other people who arrived this evening but I didn't care anymore. I still closed my eyes when suddenly something or let say someone bumped my head so I was even dizzier. I took a deep breath to control myself to be mad at a stranger.
"Sorry." I heard the man say.
"Hey. Next time be careful. Be aware of your surroundings bro." Ivan said. "Are you all right? Are you hurt?" He quickly held my chin to look at him.
"Yeah I'm fine, I'm fine," I said but I'm not fine.
Who is that ass that hit my head? He's careless.
"Hey, Wade!" Arthur suddenly said so I looked in his direction.
"Hey bro!" He greeted him back.
I frowned and looked behind me, I was surprised because Wade was the one who hit my head. I quickly punched him in the stomach while he was not looking at me.
"Shit! It's you!" I glared at him. "You bastard hit my head. We've met each other after 7 years but you greeted me by hitting my head. That's nice, Wade." I said sarcastically.
He held my head and turned my face at him. "You still haven't changed. You're still my sadist girl."
He got another punch in his arm from me. "I'm not your girl. Remember? You didn't choose me. You chose another girl than me."
"I chose you as my best friend." He smiled. "I didn't forget you. Even if I have a girlfriend, I'd never leave you."
"Don't say such a thing, Wade. You're still my friend and I'm happy to see you again." I faked my smile.
"It's nice to see you again, Louise." He said. He greeted Coleen and Laura before he messed up my hair again. "Do you have a fever?"
I slapped his hand. "Yes. Grab your food and don't talk to me while we are in the same place."
"Why? Can't I talk to my friend?" He whispered. I looked at my companions. My friends are giggling on my left side while RealSeven is frowning at me.
"No. Okay okay!" I sounded annoyed. "We'll talk to each other if you want to."
"Why am I annoying to you? I didn't receive a kiss from you." He pouted.
I punched him in the arm and then slapped him in the stomach. If glare can kill a person then he's definitely on the floor now.
"Ouch! Okay okay! I'm leaving now but, first introduce me to your boyfriend, huh? Who's your person among these seven radishes?" Wade asked while still not leaving behind me.
"I don't have a boyfriend, Wade," I replied bluntly.
Wade held my head again. "Just make sure you'll not get hurt."
To my annoyance, I grabbed his hair and did not let it go. "Do you want to die?" I pushed his head away.
He looked at me like a kid. "I just wanted to give you a piece of advice. You demon." Wade pointing at me but he smiled immediately. "Just get well, Louise. Talk to you later or tomorrow." He said before he bid goodbye to us.
I was able to breathe now because Wade was no longer in front of me.
"Who is he?" Marvin broke the silence.
"He's my best friend," I replied.
"I thought he's your boyfriend," Jacob said.
I was cringing when I looked at him. I was crazy in love with him but now I accepted that he's not with me. He was destined to be my best friend.
"He's just Louise's best friend but they are suitable for each other, right?" Laura giggled.
"Is there no chance to the both of you? You look good together." Junior said while eating his shrimp.
"Why don't you try to be with him? It looks like Wade doesn't have a girlfriend." Haye said.
"But sis remember? She likes someone else." Coleen said before she gazed at me.
"I feel like Louise has a chance to be with someone she likes," Axel said, smiling widely.
"Yes, it's true. We've asked for a sign last night and did you know that she got it? We hope that her dreams will turn into reality." Sheena said.
"Shhh. Can you stop it, people? Louise is already sick and you guys just know about her love life." Lovie said.
"Can't we just be excited because Louise finally looks like she's going on a date? After how many years she'll be loved back." Marie giggled.
"Hey! I was loved and until now I am loved." I said proudly.
"Stop that love life thingy. We don't have plans for tomorrow." Lovie said seriously. "What's our plan for tomorrow?" She asked the boys.
"Oh! Are you guys done with your topic? You forgot that we exist." Ivan said jokingly.
"Oh, we're very sorry for ignoring you, your highness," Junior said before he bowed to Ivan.
We also stood up and then bowed to Ivan just to show our respect and apology. We burst out laughing at what we did.
"Okay let's plan thoroughly what are our activities for tomorrow," Johan said.
"You've said on the 4th day we will change the group. So we might go as well with another team which is Louise's team, am I right?" Marvin asked while pointing at me.
I just looked at them while they're talking. I'm also thinking of activities that can be done for tomorrow but I can't think of anything because there is a possibility that I won't be able to be with them. Only RealSeven will need to switch the group.
"So Ivan Oppa, Jacob Oppa, and Marvin Oppa will go to our team?" Laura clarified.
"Yes. Do you agree with my suggestion guys?" Lovie asked us.
I just nodded and I heard that they also agreed. We left our seats and decided to go to a nipa hut. We separated our ways to talk about what we will do for tomorrow. Before I could get out of the dining room, I hit Wade's head. I saw that he was hurt so I smirked at him before I followed my companions.
I wore two jackets that Justin and Marvin had given to me. It's too cold tonight for me. Axel and Sheena clung to my arms.
"I hope you'll be okay so you can enjoy our activities tomorrow," Axel said as he clung to my left arm.
"Dimwits! Don't touch me, you might get infected." I stay away from them but they pulled me again.
"It's okay. We have a strong resistance, especially Axel, he's a horse." Sheena said.
"Wow! You look like a monster." Axel Backfired at her.
I just laughed at the two of them while teasing each other. We entered a nipa hut and we sat down. Sheena and Axel are next to me because they have been clinging to my arms before. Marvin and Jacob sat in front of me and looked at me. I covered my face with a jacket.
"I'm listening guys," I told them.
I heard that Ivan leads this group. They gave suggestions but with a peal of laughter. Ivan made them laugh and I'm secretly laughing because of his silliness. I removed the jacket on my face and looked at them.
"Let's daydream while watching the sunset. Let our minds and fantasies carry us away from reality. What we look like five or ten years from now or what we would do if we won the lottery." I suggested. I always want to do that because I'm a daydreamer.
"That's a good suggestion. Let's escape from reality for a while." Ivan said, smiling at me.
