(ROSIE'S POV)
The thoughts of my sister's home and how she was so unfortunate to have meant such a man has made tears to roll out from my eyes. Her case was just like this woman in agony right now. because instead of her enjoying her marriage, she ended up enduring it. But, witnessing this right here at my office, made me so sad and scared of what steps to take. and how to have a place called home. A home of love, A home of peace, and A home of Joy. That's what i wanted. As my thought was hovering around, i thought of my parents. At least theirs is better than my sister home. This gave me more confidence that made me smile to myself . there are some good men out there too with a good home.
...
Coming from a polygamous home was like hell on earth its not a place anyone would wis to be.and this has taught me a great lesson in life. My parents marriage was actually better but not the best. I could remember vividly how, the question I asked my dad when I was 18years of age,
Dad! I called him in curiosity ..
(DAD'S POV)
Yes Rosie!
(ROSIE'S POV)
What's your reasons for having two wives?
because I don't really understand. Wasn't one wives enough for you?
(DAD'S POV)
``hmmmm….. he sighed deeply. My daughter, I didn't get a good wife at first' not until I met your mother. My girl! One is okay for every man. You can't define marriage now until you get into it. the home is the meaning of marriage itself. different couples have different meaning of marriage. this is based on their experience.
(ROSIE'S POV)
does that means that, there are some people that are not meant to be together, could this be reason behind broken homes? I thought to myself silently. I agree to what my dad said, because I have witnessed so many occasions whereby his first wife was so abusive to him. In fact, most dawn's are filled with quarrels and druckness. But to mum, I could feel the love and happiness from my parents
**
I witnessed this scene one morning when my parents were laughing loud in their bedroom. I could feel the sound of joy and I was so curious and happy at the same time seeing my parents living in a place called home. they were in oneness, unity and love. This made me to step out from my bedroom in curiosity to the passage. their room door was opened then I heard my mum's foot steps as she was walking out of the bedroom. Mum! I called in a hush voice as my hands were round about my lips.
(MUM'S POV)
Yes Rosie!
(ROSIE'S POV)
Miguor(Good morning) mummy ...as I greeted in our dialects
(MUM'S POV)
Vwredo!
(ROSIE'S POV)
I have a question to ask! what makes you and daddy to always laugh in your room?
(MUM'S POV)
Oh! My dear, you won't understand now until you get to the stage she said to me truly.
( ROSIE'S POV)
I have seen my parents grow in love, and this encouraged me before death took my dad away from us. I was in so much pain knowing that I can't get to see him again.

Oh! Least I forgot, I snapped out immediately out of the deep thoughts. My date with Jerry is getting close. I rounded up quickly at the office and moved out to our meeting point.
