(Vince POV)
If Vince Kho had learned anything over the years, it was that announcing chaos too loudly always guaranteed exactly the kind of chaos he pretended to thrive on.
Which was why, standing in the center of the bowling alley with a neon-coloured ball in one hand and an oversized grin on his face, he declared with theatrical conviction:
"We're not doing casual bowling. Where's the trauma in that? This is ELIMINATION."
The echo of his voice bounced off glossy lanes and metallic rails. A few strangers glanced over, mildly impressed. Or mildly concerned. Hard to tell.
Jeff sighed. "You sound like you're hosting a reality show."
"That's because I am," Vince replied grandly. "Welcome to Vince Kho: The Unnecessarily Competitive Edition."
Steven folded his arms mildly. "It's bowling."
"And your face is unnecessarily handsome," Vince shot back. "Yet here we are."
Michelle snorted. Lara actually chuckled.
And just like that, his internal organs decided to malfunction.
