I arrived back home and decide to change and make dinner. Grandma went to states for her paperwork and will be back in a week. I was really tired.
I started with my daily Korean practice as my American accent was coming to my Korean. Which was surely not good for me.
"Tomorrow I have to email my CV," I reminded myself.
Though we were rich and were getting a good amount of money but i wanted to be independent.
Dad said that he will get me married to some rich guy who owns tones of business like him but grandma said that she wanted me to marry the person I love.
I shared a special bond with her. She was the only who understood me.
"I miss her," I said, and started crying.
Suddenly my cell phone rang, and it was Soyon.
"Hello! yes, Soyon, what happened?" I asked.
"Ahh, nothing serious. I was just missing you, so decide to call you." She said.
Though she said that she wanted my help but somehow she knew I was sad and that's why she called me over. After all, she is my childhood friend.
I dressed up again and went to the cafe. It was in the neighbourhood only.
I told her about everything, and she hugged me.
"Ahhh Eunjo-ahh don't think too much! You are going to do amazing," she said while hugging me.
Suddenly the landline rang, and it was a customer who wanted to place orders.
Soyon picked up the call and took the orders.
"We have a home delivery but they are going to pick the order half way! Near the Hannam Complex!" she said while running towards the kitchen.
We packed the order and sat on our scooter for the delivery.
"Ahh it's so cold!" I said, while sitting in the back.
We reached our location and saw two young men dressed in all black. Both of them were dressed in black leather jackets.
They were standing outside without any vehicle.
I was holding the parcel and Soyon was completing all the formalities. I casually took a step back and stepped on a stone.
I lost the balance and was about to fall when I felt a hand grabbing my hand and then my waist.
His eyes! They were so familiar. As if I saw them. We were just one inch apart, and I could feel the heat.
"You alright Eunjo-shi!" He said in his deep mesmerising voice.
"I know you!" I murmured.
"I know this voice!" I said.
He nodded his head as if he was agreeing.
The other man suddenly coughed. Just to make the situation normal.
We handed them the order and bowed to them. One of them was looking familiar.
Though I could not see his face, but the vibes were familiar.
I recognised his deep voice, but didn't remember where I met him.
"Eunjo! What are you thinking, let's go!" Soyon said.
"Yes, let's go!" I replied.
I sat behind her and started the scooter. I don't know why, but I turned back and our eyes met. He was looking in my direction. I felt my heart beating fast and butterflies in stomach.
It was a unique feeling that I never felt before.
"Who were they?" I asked Soyon.
"I don't know I was in a hurry and forgot to ask the name." She replied while the chilly breeze touched our face.
His hands… they were so warm! He was so handsome. The little devil inside my head thought.
I slapped my forehead to stop thinking about him. Soyon heard that and asked what's wrong with me?
"Ahh, it was a mosquito!" I said.
"Seriously Eunjo! Till now you don't know how to lie. How can a mosquito sit on your forehead when I'm riding the scooter so fast! you phaboya!" She said.
"Is that little devil giving you a hard time! Cause they were hot!" She said, giggling.
"I wonder who they were!" I said and saw the moon, which looked so pretty! But that feeling.
"Yes, me too!" She said.
