A young man, his face lit with excitement, ran straight past the guards at the compound without so much as a greeting, dashing into a building on the outskirts of Baku, right along the coast of the Caspian Sea.
"Please stop, give me your ID and undergo sterilisation." A stern voice was suddenly heard
The young man came to an abrupt halt. The sound caught him by surprise, as he was not expecting such a roadblock in his path.
The last time he had come to the director's office, there had been no such formalities, but given the current situation, it felt perfectly reasonable. His excitement dimmed slightly, but unshaken, he quickly flashed his ID card and entered the steam room. Without hesitation, he stripped off his clothes, tossed them into the bin, and let the hot steam engulf him. It sterilised his entire body, drawing out sweat from head to toe and flushing his skin bright red, turning his colour from a pale pear to a ripe peach.
