"Even if you become weaker, you'd still be a fierce beast," Ash replied, "I merely worry that if you become too weak, you might suddenly die and break free from the Soul Box upon rebirth. I wouldn't want to live in constant fear of your revenge every day."
Vishi retorted, "Do you mean you wouldn't worry about my revenge once I'm chained up?"
The two tacitly avoided mentioning Vishi's assistance just now, perhaps because they both knew it was merely the effect of the Ruby Chain; when Ash encountered danger, Vishi was both his deadly spear and self-sacrificing shield. Or perhaps they hadn't figured out how to handle it yet.
