Once she had Alex alone for a moment, Fidelia leaned in with a knowing smirk. "So, baby girl. How does it feel being the leading lady in the life of the most sought-after single man in the country, current holder of Actor of the Year?"
"You found out. Leila told you?"
"She did. Since apparently you weren't going to."
"You know I would have eventually. I just decided to trust your intelligence to figure it out on your own, didn't know it will take you this much time." Alex giggled.
"Sure you did. Meanwhile I'm apparently the slowest woman in this room I guess." Fidelia crossed her arms, feigning offense poorly.
Alex rolled her eyes. "And how does it feel being attached to the most eligible bachelor in the country?"
"Honestly, I still don't understand what earns him that title." Fidelia huffed, glancing around the room as if the answer might be written somewhere on the walls.
"Maybe it's the small army of women orbiting him at all times. Look behind you." Alex pointed.
