Evo's POV
Unexpectedly, I got a phone call from Zoey. At first, I was hesitant to pick up the phone and talk to her, but eventually, I gave in. With a pause for air, I began to speak.
"So, what happened again, Zoey? Please let me go, even if it's just for today," I said. My face still stung from the slapping.
"Evo, please don't hang up," Zoey sobbed. Her voice shook visibly with fear. "Please help me..."
"W-why? What the heck happened?" I suddenly became interested.

Eduard's POV
As we investigated, I was communicating with two of my team members. I was about to go to the headquarters when I got a call from the office. I went straight to the crime scene from GHQ, but there was traffic, so I got there late.
"So the people on the ground aren't their blood?" I inquired.
Benedict shook his head. "We could smell potassium cyanide in the mouths of the two victims. We found no signs of trauma on their bodies, and autopsies revealed that cerebral hypoxia was the cause of death."
