The car ride to the school was rather uneventful. We just chatted around here and there about stuff and listened to music on the way there. Natsumi-san was driving very close to the speed limit of the road, navigating through the traffic with great skill. I can't even tell what this woman is not good at outside of cooking.
We arrived at the school, and since it was still very early, no one really noticed us in the car with Sensei. We got out and thanked her before walking to our classroom. School this early just had a different feel to it. Normally, we arrive around the time many of the other students arrive too, but since not a lot of people were around, we could just walk around without thinking much about the eyes looking at us. Wait.
"I forgot my eye patch," I realized, and I spoke out loud. My eyes widened, but I heard a little chuckle from Ai. Looking over to her, she reached into her bag to pull out my eye patch, holding it in front of me proudly.
