Chapter 68 - The Allied Guilds March to war

AN: this was originally three chapter but i condensed into one after all i didn't want you guys to wait on a war type chapters.

(Truly speaking This chapter drained me)

Sooo i will not update for either 2 or 3 days depends on my mood (`∇´)

——————————————————————————

The sun rose over Magnolia, but the sky felt heavier than usual.

Inside Fairy Tail, the usual chaos had been replaced with quiet anticipation. Tables were cleared. The roulette wheels stood still. Even the self-playing banjo had gone silent.

Benches had been pushed aside, tables stacked against the walls, and the main floor cleared into an open space. The morning sun spilled through the high windows, glinting off tankards, armor, and polished wood. Fairy Tail's members filled the room, buzzing with whispers.

But it wasn't Fairy Tail that had them on edge.

It was the three other guilds.

Makarov stood on the raised platform, cane in hand, watching as the visitors filed in. His small frame looked almost comical against the backdrop of all the gathered forces but his eyes were sharp, and his tone, when he spoke, was iron.

At the center of the hall, Makarov stood tall his tiny frame radiating authority. His eyes were sharp. His voice, when it came, was calm, but it carried the weight of war.

"Quiet down, brats. We've got important guests."

The murmurs hushed.

"Today," he said, "we are no longer just Fairy Tail."

The guild doors burst open.

First came Lamia Scale.

A wave of earth magic rippled through the floor as Jura Neekis, young but already radiating Power , stepped forward. His bald head, pristine robes, and calm demeanor commanded respect. At their head was Ooba Babasaama, wrapped in layers of fabric so voluminous she looked more like a parade float than a guild master, the guild master, floated in on a magical cushion, sipping tea.

Whispers rippled through Fairy Tail. Even then, even though this was before him becoming one of the Ten Wizard Saints, Jura's reputation as a rising powerhouse was spreading.

Lucky raised an eyebrow, his clone perception brushing across Jura's mana reserves. 'That's… a lot. Solid as stone. Literally.'

Ooba Babasaama

Then right after them

Next came Blue Pegasus.

They didn't walk in. They floated.

With a poof of glitter and a burst of rose-scented wind, Master Bob descended in a golden chariot pulled by doves. His makeup sparkled. His robe shimmered. He blew a kiss to the room.

"Darling Makarov~! I brought my finest men and my finest fashion sense!"

Makarov looked horrified. "Thank.. you... for coming.. Bob."

"Hellooooo, Fairy Tail!" he cried, arms wide. "The one and only, Bob-sama, at your service!"

He blew a kiss into the crowd. Several Fairy Tail men gagged. Lucky nearly choked on his own spit. Gray muttered, "Nope," and turned away.

Just as they sat down.

Then came Quatro Cerberus.

The doors nearly flew off their hinges as Quatro Cerberus charged in, shouting, flexing, and pounding their chests.

At the front was their master, Goldmine, a mountain of a man with wild hair, teeth bared in a grin that promised bar fights and broken tables. Behind him, the rest of the guild stomped in, howling like beasts.

"QUATRO CERBERUS IS HERE, YEAH!" they roared in unison.

The guild hall trembled.

Makarov pinched the bridge of his nose. "Lord, give me patience…"

Lucky, standing at the back, watched it all.

He was amused by Quatro Cerberus, unnerved by Blue Pegasus' flamboyance, and deeply respectful of Jura after all He didn't start to scream his lungs out like the others .

Gildarts leaned against the wall, arms crossed, sipping from a flask. "Only reason I'm here is the promise of free booze after."

Which made Cana to stomp on his foot of course it didn't hurt but to show his love he made a painful look.

But everyone igonerd this After all they knew who gildarts is.

Makarov raised his hand.

Silence.

Once the chaos settled (somewhat), the four guild masters gathered at the front.

Makarov cleared his throat. "Thank you all for coming. This isn't a mission for pride. This isn't a mission for jewels. It's bigger. Dark mages are rebuilding the Tower of Heaven. And there purpose is reviving a certin Dark mage."

The room stilled.

He turned to Erza, who stood in full armor, her crimson hair like a banner.

"Erza was once enslaved there. Children were taken. Forced to build. Tortured. Killed."

The room grew cold.

Erza stepped forward. "I escaped. But I left them behind."

Her voice cracked.

"And now… they're still there."

The tension was unbearable.

Makarov's voice boomed. "We go not for glory. Not for power. We go to free the enslaved. To tear down the Tower. And to end this cult. once and for all"

Erza stepped forward. Her hands trembled slightly, but her voice was firm.

"I… I know where it is."

All eyes turned to her.

"As i said before when I was a child… I was imprisoned there. Forced to work. I escaped, but… many didn't. If the tower is rebuilt, it could mean another R-System. We can't allow it."

Silence. Heavy and cold.

Jura placed a hand over his chest. "Then we will see it destroyed."

Bob snapped his fingers, a cascade of glitter popping above his head. "Blue Pegasus stands ready, darling."

Goldmine cracked his knuckles. "Finally, a good fight."

Makarov nodded, gaze firm. "Then it's decided. Four guilds. One alliance. Today we march together."

The guilds roared.

"FAIRY TAIL!"

"LAMIA SCALE!"

"BLUE PEGASUS!"

"QUATRO CERBERUS!"

The sound shook the walls of fairy tail

——————————————————————————

The march to the Tower was unlike anything Lucky had seen.

Fairy Tail wasn't alone anymore. Hundreds of mages stretched across the landscape in one massive column. Cloaks fluttered, weapons gleamed, magic rippled across the air.

Lucky rode on his Colossal Featherfall Golden Eagle, scouting ahead. Below, the guilds followed Fairy Tail in the center, Lamia Scale anchoring the rear, Blue Pegasus flying above, Quatro Cerberus charging ahead.

Lucky and his clones scouted from treetops, sending back images through shared perception from the summons.

Blue Pegasus rode enchanted carriages with velvet seats, sipping tea mid-march. Quatro Cerberus wrestled each other while walking. Lamia Scale marched in precise, military-like lines.

"RACE YOU TO THE TOWER!" one of Quatro Cerberus' mages roared.

"Only if you want to lose in style!" Bob called back, adjusting his sunglasses.

Lucky sighed. "We're rescuing slaves, not hosting a fashion show."

Cana smirked. "Relax. They're just excited."

Makarov shouted at Lucky "Lucky everything ready?"

Lucky smiled "Just give the signal Master"

Makarov look at the other Guild master with a smile "don't be jealous after this. Lucky Now! "

Lucky smirked as he raised a hand. "Portal Creation."

A shimmering blue oval tore open in midair.

"HUHHH ..."

Bob suddnly appeared in front of Lucky who has just landed and with a feverish eyes looked at lucky "Lucky Dear come Join our guild we will treat you better than Makarov"

Lucky while shivering about the closeness still answered "Fairy tail is my Home... and i can't leave my Home"

Bob still haven't given up "No worries just think of this as working in a diffrent city"

just before Lucky could answer Makarov shouted "Bob don't steal our members" then he stood in front of Lucky as if a mother hen protecting its chick

Which made Bob Dejected but he went to his happy smile after.

Lucky smiled and spoke to everyone.

"This is a Shortcut, my clones and summons have scouted" he said. "just to Avoid the ambush points. and catch them by suprise"

Everyone nodded. "Good thinking."

As the guilds passed through, Jura gave Lucky a respectful nod. "Your magic is… impressive."

Lucky grinned. "Thank you."

But beneath the antics, the tension grew.

The closer they came, the more the air thickened.

Erza stopped at one point, staring out over the coastline.

"There." Her voice shook. "It should be there. Just past the ridge."

Lucky Clones created a portal for everyone to pass.

then all saw it.

The Tower of Heaven.

A jagged monolith of stone and magic, rising from the water like a scar against the sky. Dark runes glowed along its surface. Ships circled at its base. And on its walls guards. Dozens. Hundreds.

Lucky felt his chest tighten. His clones rippled in anticipation.

The alarm bells rang from the tower.

Figures scrambled, spells lit the air, siege weapons turned.

Cultists poured from the gates. Mercenaries with enchanted weapons

The first volley of magic exploded across the shoreline.

And the war began.

"Shields!" Jura's voice boomed, deep and steady.

He slammed his palm into the earth. Runes spread out in a circle, and walls of stone erupted from the sand, blocking the second barrage of fireballs. The explosions rocked the barrier, but it held.

Behind him, Fairy Tail and the others regrouped.

Quatro Cerberus roared in unison: "ATTAAAAAACK!"

They charged headlong, half the guild leaping over the walls like wild animals. Bob from Blue Pegasus sighed dramatically, snapping his fingers to cover them in glamour magic that turned their reckless charge into a blinding flash of light. "At least they'll look fabulous while dying."

"Lucky!" Makarov barked.

He was already moving.

"On it!"

Lucky didn't hesitate.

"Multi-Shadow Clone!"

10 of clones burst into existence. as the new Clones Spawned he started to draw mana from hunger domain and convert SP to MP using universal core.

10 more come to existence

then more and more

Lucky looked at his clones "Now!"

"Portal Creation!"

Portals opened above, beside, behind the enemy lines.

"Summon: Iron Golem!"

"Summon: Wind Wolf!"

"Summon: Fire Salamander!"

"Summon: Terants!"

"Summon:...."

The battlefield became a storm of magic.

Lucky clapped his hands together with the clones, and portals bloomed like flowers across the battlefield. One by one, clones began pouring out dozens, then hundreds, then hundreds more. (these clones were summoned before battle) Each carried potions and Wepons. Some wielded swords. Others carried shileds.

"Team 1, 2, 3! You know the drill!" Lucky shouted.

The clones scattered, forming squads. Some sprinted forward to reinforce the charging Cerberus mages, shoving potions into their mouths as they brawled. Others set up healing stations behind Jura's wall. A third wave fanned out across the water, opening portals beneath incoming spells and redirecting them

toward the Tower.

Lucky grinned despite the chaos. "This is why I love being me."

The Battle filed was chaotic but some stood out in this Battle

Cana stood at the center, cards glowing in her hand.

"Pick a Card!"

She flicked the Gold Card.

THUD.

An enemy commander froze mid-swing, stunned.

"Red Card!"

A wave of red energy exploded, slowing a dozen cultists.

"Blue Card!"

A pulse of mana restored Her used Magic.

Cana didn't stop here, gripping her glowing deck. Her hands trembled, but she forced herself to focus.

The deck spun in the air, cards floating like orbiting stars. She pulled three in quick succession.

"[Thunder]!"

Bolts of lightning erupted from the card, arcing into the enemy ranks along the tower's base. Cultists screamed, convulsing.

"[Gravity]!"

The second card slammed downward, and a wave of pressure crushed siege weapons flat, sending guards tumbling like ragdolls.

"[Explosion]!"

The third card detonated against the tower wall, blasting open a section of stone.

"That's my girl!" Gildarts roared, while swatting three mercenaries like flies. "Show 'em how it's done!"

Cana's cheeks flushed red

Jura raised his hands. "Stone Wall: Max Formation!"

A mountain of rock rose, shielding the allied forces.

Blue Pegasus launched illusion bombs, making enemies see phantoms of their worst fears.

Quatro Cerberus charged like beasts, tearing through enemy lines with claws and fangs.

And in the middle of it all Lucky, commanding his army like a general.

Clones tossed healing potions. Portals dragged wounded mages to safety. Summons held the front after all the Summons weren't weak but there was really too much Cultist.

——————————————————————————

The tower roared to life. Magic circles lit its surface, beams of light tearing into the sea. Ships anchored at its base began unleashing volleys of enchanted arrows and cannons.

Lamia Scale moved in perfect unison, their earth mages building platforms across the water. Blue Pegasus provided aerial cover, glamour and illusion spells blinding enemy sharpshooters. Quatro Cerberus smashed through everything in sight.

And Fairy Tail?

Fairy Tail was Fairy Tail.

Macco leapt onto a boat, set it ablaze, and laughed maniacally with Wakaba. Gray froze entire decks solid. Erza requipped in midair, slicing through enemy mages before her feet even touched the ground. Gildarts casually backhanded a ship in half.

Lucky's clones wove through all of it, saving allies from falling, shoving potions into mouths, teleporting squads across the battlefield. One clone even slapped a stunned Blue Pegasus mage across the face.

"Drink the damn potion or die, your choice!"

The mage downed it instantly.

Deep within the Tower, cult leaders began a dark chant.

The ground cracked.

From the shadows, corrupted guardians emerged twisted, demonic constructs made of bone and black magic.

They moved fast. They hit hard.

Lucky's clones fell by the dozens.

"We're losing ground!" someone shouted.

Lucky gritted his teeth. "Then we push harder."

Lucky Hit: x20

the moment Lucky saw the 20 he knew one thing he is OP

looking at this demons he can only gaev them a smile

"Soldi Script [TRACK LIGHTNING STRIKE]"

The moment this was cast in an instant 20 Floating words appears with a ridiculous amount of Power they struck fast even some of the strong People could only see a glimpse before it struck.

"Cana! Stun the ritual caster!"

Cana didn't hesitate.

"Gold Card!"

THUD.

The lead cultist froze.

"Jura! Stone Pillar!"

"Crush!" Gildarts roared, obliterating the ritual circle.

The guardians collapsed.

The path was clear.

——————————————————————————

Hours seemed to blur in the madness. Spells shattered stone, screams echoed, and the Tower itself cracked under the relentless assault.

Finally, with a massive blast from Gildarts splitting the gates wide open, the guild alliance stormed inside.

The interior was a nightmare. Chains rattled. The smell of blood and damp stone choked the air. Slaves huddled in corners, their eyes wide and hollow.

Fairy Tail rushed to free them. Lucky's clones moved with practiced precision, unlocking chains, pouring healing potions, opening small portals to evacuate the weakest to safety.

The moment the chains broke, the adults collapsed in relief. The children stared at the mages in awe and.. fear.

But among the children freed, a few caught Lucky's attention.

A little girl with feline features, Millianna, who clung to Erza the moment she saw her.

Sorano, silent, her gaze cold despite her young age.

Macbeth, small, timid, but with a strange aura.

Makrov knelt beside one. "You're safe now."

Lucky tossed healing potions like grenades. "Drink. You'll feel better."

Gildarts looked at the kids then at Cana.

His chest tightened.

"We're not done," he muttered.

As lucky clone's kept realising them from there chians he saw Erza stare at one of the children which lucky sent one of his clones to unlock.

As the chains fell, Millianna suddenly launched herself at Erza.

Her small fists pounded against Erza's chest, her face twisted in grief.

"WHY DID YOU LEAVE US?!" she screamed. "WHY DIDN'T YOU COME BACK?!"

Erza froze.

Millianna sobbed, clinging to her. "We waited… we kept waiting… WHY DID YOU ABANDON US, ERZA.... you were supposed to save us!"

Erza's armor clattered as her knees hit the floor. Her eyes filled with tears, her arms wrapping around the child who hated and needed her all at once.

She let the claws strike her armor.

"I'm sorry," she whispered, voice breaking. "I never stopped thinking of you. I swear it."

Lucky stepped forward, but Erza shook her head.

Millianna's sobs eventually slowed. Her small voice cracked as she whispered, "They… Jellal moved the others. Most of the slaves… they were taken somewhere else… after the time you left us be few days"

The words fell like stones into the room.

The guild masters' faces darkened.

Makarov's mustache twitched. Jura clenched his fist. Goldmine's grin disappeared. Even Bob's sparkles dimmed.

Gildarts, standing behind Cana with a hand on her shoulder, frowned deeply.

Lucky's clones froze mid-motion. His real self clenched his jaw. 'Another tower? Another base? isn't this in the Future why now?'

Erza trembled, but her voice hardened. "Then we'll find them."

The war wasn't over

——————————————————————————

The Tower burned.

Chunks of stone collapsed into the sea, sending waves rolling against the shoreline. Smoke rose in thick plumes, mixing with the salt air. The battle was over, but the scars remained.

Fairy Tail, Lamia Scale, Blue Pegasus, and Quatro Cerberus stood together amid the wreckage. Their robes were torn, their bodies bruised, but their spirits unbroken. Survivors slaves, children, the weak were being evacuated through Lucky's portals, clone after clone carrying them away.

Cana sat beside Gildarts, trembling but smiling faintly when he ruffled her hair. He had been proud of her during the fight, and she clung to that like it was the strongest magic in the world.

But the weight of Millianna's words still hung in the air.

They moved the others…

Erza stood silent, her fists clenched tight, staring at the smoldering ruins. Lucky's eyes hardened as he thought of the unknown number of towers that are there. Makarov, arms crossed, looked older than ever.

Just as relief spread, the sky darkened.

The silence was broken with a deep boom.

Not from the tower this time

From the sky.

A fleet of Council ships hovered above the waves, magic circles glowing along their hulls. The insignia of the Magic Council gleamed on their banners.

"They're here," Jura muttered, straightening.

A storm of light descended from the flagship, forming into a massive rune-circle on the ground. Figures stepped out, cloaked and stern, their expressions as hard as steel.

The Magic Council had arrived.

Fleets of Magic Council airships descended, landing with a thunderous crash.

Council enforcers marched out, led by a cold-faced official.

One of the robed figures, a tall man with narrow eyes, surveyed the battlefield. His voice carried across the shore.

"What is the meaning of this?"

Makarov stepped forward, his tiny frame seeming somehow immense. "The Tower of Heaven was enslaving children and building a weapon. We dismantled it."

"You have acted without authorization," he said. "The Tower's destruction." He pointed at the children. "And the custody of these children. These are Council matters."

The Councilor's eyes narrowed even more. "At what cost? Do you have any idea how much damage you've caused to Council-monitored structures? And who gave you the right to interfere in matters of this scale?"

Blue Pegasus' Bob fanned himself dramatically. "Darling, please, we saved lives. Isn't that what matters?"

Quatro Cerberus growled as one. "YEAH!"

The Council members didn't look impressed.

"You there. The boy with the portals."

Lucky froze. "...Me?"

"We've had reports of… destructive magic. summons. Mass cloning." The Councilor's tone grew sharp. "Do you understand how much damage you caused?"

Lucky grit his teeth. "I just saved lifes do you want to tell me this is wrong. Do you want me to apologize for keeping people alive?"

Makarov placed a calming hand on his arm. The old master's voice was firm. "Enough. If you want to put someone on trial, put me. I sanctioned this. I'll take responsibility."

The Council fell into tense whispers.

Then Gildarts stepped forward, aura rolling off him like a storm. His grin was gone.

"You people show up after the fight's over, wagging your fingers like schoolteachers. Where were you when these kids were chained to walls? Where were you when the Tower was firing its magic into the sky?"

The ground cracked under his boots as his voice boomed.

"You've got no right to lecture us."

The Councilors visibly flinched. Few dared to argue with the mage who could level a mountain by sneezing too hard.

Lucky muttered, "Damn."

'in the future i need to do someting like this'

——————————————————————————

The tension broke when Millianna's voice rang out.

She stood among the rescued children, clutching Erza's hand. Her cheeks were wet with tears, but her eyes burned with resolve.

"These people saved us," she shouted. "All of them! Fairy Tail, Lamia Scale, everyone! If not for them, we'd still be chained!"

Her words cut through the silence like a blade.

Even the Councilors faltered.

Behind her, Sorano, Macbeth and the other children nodded, their small faces pale but determined.

"They saved us," children repeated softly.

For once, the Council had no reply.

Finally, the lead Councilor sighed.

"Very well. We will… overlook this destruction. For now. But the Council will an explanation. and a report for this matter" His eyes lingered on all the guild masters.

which All of the nodded.

the lead Councilor spoke again "we will arrange a later meeting"

He then commanded the other "Apprehend this Dark mages now!"

whith a sigh the Councilor turned and vanished back into their ships.

After getting all the cultist their fleet slowly dispersing.

——————————————————————————

The guilds regrouped, exhausted but victorious.

Makarov raised his voice. "We saved lives today. But our work is not finished. Slaves remain, scattered elsewhere. We will find them."

The guild masters of Lamia Scale, Blue Pegasus, and Quatro Cerberus nodded. Even Gildarts, still standing tall with Cana at his side, looked grim.

Lucky glanced at Erza. She still held Millianna's hand tightly, as though afraid to let go.

"Another tower," Lucky muttered. "Another nightmare waiting for us."

Erza's voice was low, but filled with steel. "Then we'll tear it down too."

And for the first time, Lucky saw it.Not just Erza, the strict warrior. But Erza, the girl who had survived the Tower once already, swearing she would never let it stand again.

As the guilds prepared to depart, Gildarts lifted Cana onto his shoulder, pride written across his face. "Not bad for my first mission back. Guess Fairy Tail hasn't gotten boring while I was away."

Lucky smirked tiredly but didn't replay

The wind carried away the smoke of the fallen tower. But in the distance, beyond the horizon, darker clouds gathered.
