He motions his hand again but suddenly halts...

Interface changed into a map and a circular pulse starting from the middle was emitted. after doing this, dots started to appear near the center...his current position.
"Holy sh--!!!! That too many....1...2...3...4...14? What the hell are they doing here?!!!!"
He starts to panic and then a thought came to him. A lot of beast was chasing him from before, was it one of them? No! he fell off a waterfall...
They can't follow him anymore...
Unless...
Immediately, he stood up and tried to look nearby visually...
"F---!!! I knew it! They are not following me. These beast are new ones and their target isn't me....it's those corpses!!!"
Remembering his fall earlier, he did came into the river but the same goes for some of the beast that chased him too. Some of the fell off as well. And judging from the fact that he is still alive, none of those who fell survived the fall like him. Atleast not for those near him.
However...
This also brings him to the current situation. He is beside a lot of corpses. The smell of blood must have attracted them to this place.
Kale started to formulate a plan of escape. He already survived a horde chasing him, a few don't scare him anymore. Plus he has gained a much more deeper understanding about the situation. That or it could be the effects of his skills [Courage] and [Intuition]...
He now has a choice. First, he can run. With sprint active, he can probably go further. But that would mean just him running away.
In an unknown forest the scariest thing to not have is basic necessities like food and water. And right now...near him lies a bunch of that food. However, do the dilemma is...should he give that up, share it or take everything.
If he go now without taking anything, he will survive...for now.
If he takes some, he will survive too and can sustain himself for a little bit until he used up all those food.
If he takes everything, he will definitely last longer but can he survive the chase is still up for grabs.
"Tch!"
"To heck with it...if I don't save the foods, God know how will I hunt them. Not until I gain enough strength. I will take it but where should I go from here?"

A map suddenly appears. All the red dots from before are approaching him slowly. Most of them are on the west side but there are 2 of it on the east. It's probably trying to encircle him.
"Analyze! Identify the hostile targets!"

He looked into the map again. What he needs now is a safe path that will allow him to pass the wolves in front unnoticed. Only by doing this can he safely leave this area and hide for now.

"There is a cave on this part. But it says here that it has been blocked...hmmm...It's quite far from here and the river runs near that place too..."
Kale contemplates as he assess the recently found cave.
"Well...It's either that or nothing...But just to be safe, I need to check this place first..."
Kale slowly runs to the nearby corpse of the beast that followed him earlier. He found 5 of them...

Kale was slightly happy about what he just saw. If he remembers it correctly, this "guy" was the one he first saw earlier in the morning. It was this horned beast that chased him like there was no tommorrow from early this morning.
At first, It wouldn't make sense. I mean, was pretty domineering earlier. But if he was on the frontline chasing him then he probably got pushed into the river by the ones that came afterwards and couldn't stop right away. If he put it that way, then these explain why it fell off. Also these beasts could explain why he levelled up up to 3 on status.
Kale might not have known it if he wasn't informed earlier. As the beings of this world grows up, they accumulate experience needed to level up. And once they reach a certain age, that accumulation will immediately tranform them. However, Kale doesn't have that accumulation. He just came here today. So, how did he levelled up?

It was these 5 beasts that fell along with him.
The system must have identified them as enemies and when they died near him they become his experiences.
