After resting and have casual chat for a while, Bai Yi Yang start cooking again. It's just that at around 5.00 pm, she received a call from Ah Qi.
When it is school days, they either chat at this exact time or chat for a while. But, she forgot for a second because this is holiday.
"Yang Yang, Ah Qi ge is calling." Bai Yi Chen saw Bai Yi Yang phone on the counter and said this. Hearing this, both Bai Yi Yang and Zhang Yong turn around.
"Oh. Then I will go pick it up. I will come back soon." Bai Yi Yang face turns bright and quickly went to wash her hands. She was cutting the few type of vegetables for the Stir fry Scallops with Vegetables when she got this call.
Bai Yi Yang took the phone and ran out of the kitchen. Zhang Yong saw her back and feel a bit unhappy. Who is this Ah Qi for her to act like that? She even answer the phone away from them.
"Who is that?" Zhang Yong pretend to be unbothered and ask Bai Yi Chen.
"He is a close family friend. He is someone Yang Yang know from somewhere before." Bai Yi Chen didn't specify. He can't just say that his twin know Ah Qi from her dream right? That will make Bai Yi Yang sounds weird.
Anyway, Ah Qi is a family friend now so just say it like this.
"What is his name?"
"How old is he?"
"Where is he from?"
"What does he do?"
"How is his family?"
Zhang Yong ask Bai Yi Chen this question one after another. The more he hear the details about this man called Ah Qi, the more he feel weird. He come out of nowhere from City Shan as the Bai siblings distant relatives, he just can't understand.
That's right, Bai Yi Chen also tell Zhang Yong that Ah Qi is a distant relatives like how they tell the villagers and Old Zhou house. It's not like he can tell the truth on how they met Ah Qi.
"I see. Yang Yang just never mentioned him before." Zhang Yong said.
"Big brother Zhang, you are busy, how can Yang Yang disturb you all the time. Yang Yang also didn't tell me everything. She is like that." Bai Yi Chen said.
Actually, even to him, Bai Yi Yang have this few mysteries that even he don't have the answers, all of this start when she became really sick and had that weird dream.
But, everyone have secret, so he don't mind these small things. Most of the time, Bai Yi Yang will tell him everything.
What he is trying to say is that, he who has grown up with Bai Yi Yang and stay with her now don't even know everything about her. So, Zhang Yong shouldn't be bothered too much with it.
"En. I am quite busy too recently, naturally she wouldn't have time to tell me everything." Zhang Yong nod but it still bother him a bit.
Bai Yi Yang return after 10-15 minute after. She is holding her phone and put them on the countertop again before continue to cook.
She didn't say anything about the call, only asking them their respective progress.
Zhang Yong decided to hold onto his questions until they are alone but he never got the chance. Bai Yi Chen never left the kitchen and Bai Yi Yang is busy with finalising the dishes.
Near 6.00 pm, Zhou Zhu Yao return with the children and the house become chaotic again. Zhou Zhu Yao is busy with helping them to the bath then dressing them up.
By the time the children settle down on the sofa, it is already 6.30 pm. Bai Yi Yang only need to cook one more dish and she is done.
"Did you bring any extra clothes? If you have, you can freshen up in the boys room." Bai Yi Yang said to Zhang Yong.
Bai Yi Chen has went to take a bath first after cleaning up the dishes and take out the garbage.
Now, Bai Yi Ling is making drinks in the kitchen. She is making Kiwi Crush as welcome drink. She first crushed fresh kiwi fruits, add soda water and lime slices, then topped with fresh mint herbs. She made them individually in each glass so it took a while.
"I think that's a good idea. I don't want to stink alone. I will take my changing clothes in the car first." Zhang Yong laugh and nod. Bai Yi Yang then gave him the residence card and let him leave first.
Not even 5 minutes later, Bai Yi Yang is done with the last dish and cover the lid of the pot. Then, she bring the used dishes to the sink and start washing them as she chat with Bai Yi Ling.

'How many days has it been?' Bai Yi Yang ask TongTong. It felt like long time ago.
'Yesterday. Host it hasn't been that long.' TongTong said and Bai Yi Yang grin. Their schedule is packed, she feels that it has been a long time. In fact, their holiday just started yesterday.
"I will go take a bath first. If a guest arrived, just tell Zhu Yao jie to open the door." Bai Yi Yang said and Bai Yi Ling nod.
Bai Yi Yang enter the bathroom and took a warm shower head to toe. The new body wash and shampoo smells good so she took longer than usual. It is also a way for her to heal.
When she is done showering, she dried her hair in front of the mirror then enter their walk in closet to choose an outfit. Everyone is dressing casually since she just invited close people. So, she just took a printed white T-shirt and pair them with a denim colour pleated shorts. Her hair is let loose and she just wore a lip gloss and walk out.
Bai Yi Yang saw that everyone is all done too, Zhang Yong has changed into a more homely clothes and watching TV with everyone.
"No one has arrived yet?" Bai Yi Yang ask and sat next to Bai Yi Mo and hug a pillow. She reach out to TongTong and pinch its cute ears. TongTong was closing its eyes when Bai Yi Yang disturb her.
"En. Just rest." Bai Yi Chen nod and tell Bai Yi Yang to rest. He can receive the guests.
Bai Yi Yang join the rest to watch TV and got bored, so she lie down on the chaise lounge sofa and play with her phone. Zhou Zhu Yao saw Bai Yi Yang being this casual and confirm that Bai Yi Yang really see Zhang Yong as a close friend with no extra feeling. But, that young man seems to really like this side of her, just look at him clearly being so infatuated. Zhou Zhu Yao turn to look at the TV and sigh. Young people in love ah.
"Jie, what are you sighing for?" Bai Yi Fang ask.
"Nothing. I just thought of something randomly." Zhou Zhu Yao said and didn't mind the two again.
While it is nearing 7.00 pm, the doorbell ring and Bai Yi Chen quickly sat up to see the monitor.
"Who is that?" Zhou Zhu Yao ask.
"It's Miss Ru Qing with 3 other people." Bai Yi Chen said and tap the Approve Acess button. He readily open the door to wait for the guests.
Ru Qing is coming with her fiancé and 2 younger siblings. Bai Yi Yang already took note of this. She never met the 3 people with Ru Qing but she don't mind it. She and Ru Qing is quite close but Bai Yi Chen and the rest is still awkward.
When Ru Qing and the rest arrived at the door, Bai Yi Chen immediately invited them in. Bai Yi Yang also stop being too casual and sit properly.
"Yi Yang." Ru Qing smile and the two hug each other. Bai Yi Yang quickly invited them to the living room and the 4 people sit together.
"Let me introduce you, this is my fiancé Yang Liu, my younger brother Ru Lin and my younger sister Ru Jia." Ru Qing said to everyone.
Bai Yi Yang in turn introduced everyone to each other too. This is the first time Ru Qing meet Zhang Yong. Bai Yi Yang introduced him as a family friend but didn't specify the details. They can figure it out themselves.
Bai Yi Yang stay to chat for a while and went go the kitchen. She wanted to reheat the food and start serving. Bai Yi Ling also follow her to take the welcome drinks outside. Just when Bai Yi Yang is doing her plating, Ru Qing come into the kitchen to look around.
"Jie, how is it? I did well right?" Bai Yi Yang ask about the lot of addition in the kitchen.
"En. Actually I am not worried, didn't we basically designed this house together?" Ru Qing said. The house look a bit cold before, that's what she is worried about. But, when she came in and saw all the people inside, her worries disappear. It finally feel like home rather than a display studio.
"Did you wash your plates by hand?" Ru Qing ask when she saw some plates and bowls drying at the rack.
"Huh?" Bai Yi Yang look over and finally remember that they have a dishwasher. This dishwasher will also dry the plates and utensils after the wash, they actually just need to store them after. But, she wash the dishes like she did at home and place them on the drying rack.
"Oh my…" Bai Yi Yang realise it and laugh aloud, the two of them also laugh together in the end. Habit is really scary, there is clearly a huge dishwasher machine just below the sink but they still wash everything by hands.
Bai Yi Chen came in and saw the two laughing. He was confused and smile along too.
"What's so funny?" Bai Yi Chen ask Bai Yi Yang.
"Ge, we have a dishwasher and drying machine here. I forgot to use them." Bai Yi Yang said with some residual laugh and Bai Yi Chen smile.
"We can just use them next time." Bai Yi Chen said and start to busy around.
"I will help you with serving them." He said again and took the already decorated one to the dining table.
"He is cute." Ru Qing said with watery eyes from laughing and Bai Yi Yang nod and chuckle. If his twin brother is not cute, the girls at school wouldn't fall head over heel towards him.
The Old Cui couple arrived not long after while Bai Yi Yang is still serving the dishes. Bai Yi Yang came out to greet them and introduce them to Ru Qing and her family. Then, she enter the kitchen again with Grandma Cui. As for Old man Cui, he had start getting comfy with the rest.
"Grandma, what do you want to drink?" Bai Yi Ling ask. She didn't directly give them the welcome drink since they may not drink soda and cold drink.
"Anything is fine. Your Grandpa is the same." Grandma Cui answer Bai Yi Ling kindly.
"En." Bai Yi Ling nod and took out 2 glass of welcome drink.
"This is Kiwi Crush, a welcome drink made by me." Bai Yi Ling said and Grandma Cui nod in approval. They look quite beautiful, she praise.
"Thank you." Bai Yi Ling smile and went out with the other drink for Old Man Cui.
Grandma Cui look at what Bai Yi Yang has cooked and praise her a lot. These much dishes, is it even possible to make all of them?
"How do you and your siblings like your new home?" Grandma Cui ask.
"We all love it a lot. I especially like the security and privacy aspect." Bai Yi Yang add.
"The Eve is a good neighbourhood, you did well by choosing this one." Grandma Cui said.
"En. It's all thanks to grandma." Bai Yi Yang grinned and Grandma Cui told her that she is still the one with great insight for choosing such a nice house.
Bai Yi Yang chat with Grandma Cui as she serve the dishes one by one. After she is done, she took her camera and took pictures of the dishes one by one and a few pictures of the whole table. After that, she call the people over to eat.
Today's event is actually just coming over to chat and eat. Bai Yi Yang just wanted to treat everyone who have worked hard for this house.
There is no need to say, everyone loves the food. Zhang Yong was quite proud of his contribution and boasted about it during the meal.
"Young lad, do you think I don't know that you only wanted to eat a lot of good thing in advance?" Old man Cui tease Zhang Yong. Everyone laugh at Old Man Cui wittiness.
"Grandpa, that's an accusation. I only ate a bit." Zhang Yong answer and everyone laugh, they thought that Zhang Yong will deny it but he actually admit it directly.
The dinner passed less awkward with Old Man Cui's outgoing personality. Ru Qing's fiancé and younger siblings didn't feel left out at all.
