The group that had met before had reconvened to take a vote. All of the figures seated at the table and along the wall were much more quiet than usual.
"I assume from the atmosphere that the suggestion I had made last time was followed up on?" The woman spoke in an annoyed tone. Her gaze fell onto the old man who had seemed complacent during their last meeting before scanning the room. No one had anything to say in rebuttal.
"All in favor of ceasing operations in the Azran Kingdom until further notice raise your hand?" The snake-like voice rang throughout the room as he raised his hand first.
Without fail every hand in the room had been raised. The information they had gathered about Redgate wasn't extremely worrying if they took out the tales of the guild leader himself. Having killed 3 of the members and weakening their position significantly would be a loss for the entirety of the Echo Crypt Squadron but not enough to unanimously cease everything.
