What is "Black Fox"?
Back in 1967, Harold was a senior RAW officer. He had a big, happy family – father, mother, younger brother, sister, wife, and a cute baby girl. His life was both thrilling and fulfilling. By that time, Harold had successfully solved nearly 70 major cases.
But there was one case that completely changed his life.
In 1967, a dangerous group called Black Fox was involved in diamond smuggling, gold trafficking, hawala transactions, money laundering, and even organ trafficking. The group had several heads, but the main leader was based in Mumbai. Nobody knew his name.
When RAW needed someone to follow and solve this case, Harold's senior officer assigned him the job.
As usual, Harold began investigating. His assistant officer at that time was Karikalan. Harold first purchased a gold Rolex watch, illegally imported, and sold it to underground buyers to trace its route. He began following the buyers. That watch changed hands nearly 13 times before it reached a specialist watch mechanic.
The mechanic took out certain parts from the watch and replaced them with something else. This made Harold suspicious — these people were not just illegal watch importers, they were doing something much bigger.
From the mechanic, the watch eventually went to a boat shop owner. From there, it somehow ended up with a man living in a remote tribal village. After that, the trail went cold — no one knew where the watch went next, where the goods were being imported from, or where they were storing all the gold, diamonds, and luxury items.
Harold also couldn't figure out why they were removing certain parts and replacing them with different ones. Karikalan advised Harold to follow the man from the tribal village to learn more, but Harold still didn't understand the connection between that man and the gang.
While Cholan was researching Harold's life and this mysterious case, he received new information — a major gang meeting was about to happen in Mumbai. Without telling Harold, Cholan secretly infiltrated the gang meeting and blended in with the criminals.
