Chapter 113 - Truce (1)

"Is Vincent still in his room?" Aurora asked after having breakfast and Vincent not showing up. She hoped he wasn't avoiding her after their talk last night because she wasn't angry with him anymore and didn't want this to cause a shift in their growing friendship. She understood his side but stood firm on her side too.

"I don't think he has come out of his room in the morning and I have been here earlier than normal. I don't think he has sent for his breakfast yet," Mari said as they looked at Vincent's room. Mari wasn't aware of the argument which took place last night so she was confused about why Vincent was hiding away in his room. "Shall I take his breakfast to him?"

"Yes, no. I want to take it to him," Aurora proceeded to go back downstairs in search of Abel to prepare a warm breakfast for Vincent. She went to the kitchen and found Abel instructing a young woman on what they would be preparing for dinner. "Good morning," she greeted the two to make her presence known.
