The lynx instantly started struggling, tail flicking angrily.
Yu Holea frowned and snatched the lynx right back from Qiao Jun's arms.
"Excuse me, I'm not done talking to my master yet."
Then she looked at the lynx curiously.
"Wait… can you actually talk?"
The lynx gave a smug little nod. "Of course I can."
Yu Holea's eyes lit up, and she laughed. "Perfect. Now we really can spend more time together."
She turned away from Qiao Jun and cuddled the lynx in her arms like a spoiled cat. "Let's go have some tea and catch up."
Qiao Jun stared at them, feeling completely left out.
He muttered under his breath, "If I had known this would happen, I would've never let her meet this oversized cat again…"
The lynx smirked. Qiao Jun groaned.
