Elijah, who caught the lightning, felt like something is if filling up inside him as more lightning from the sky bent towards him like a lightning rod as he landed, 'I think I'm absorbing the lightning.'
Quickly, that 'filling up' sensation turned into 'feeling bloated'.
'I'm reaching my limit!' Elijah cried in his mind as he tries to think of a way as he looked around.
Charlotte is a good way's away and the warrior he left also has good distance in between them.
"I need to release this lightning" He cried out as he began channeling even more lightning magic throughout his body creating larger arcs that danced around with his already active lightning.
'Its not enough, I need an outlet,' Elijah thought as he quickly looked around once more, trying to see where he could safely release his magic.
"Right, the wolves!" He said out loud as his hands joined together by the wrist, fingers spread apart and aimed it towards the Electro Fenrirs.
His lightning magic converged onto his hand, "Eat this! [Big Bang Attack]!"
Elijah exclaimed as a beam of silver lightning began rushing through the air, powered by the rain of lightning with him as the conduit.
Elijah is starting to feel the recoil of his attack but stands firm. The recoil his experiencing isn't as strong as he thought it would be, nor it should be, basing on the power behind his, ehem, "spell".
The beam of lightning traveled fast, and I mean lightning fast.
As it hit the Fenrir being fought by the combined efforts of the tribe warriors in barely no time at all, which is quite a ways away. At least 50 meters from where Elijah is currently, and 80 meters from where they have the wounded.
-The other side of the battlefield-
The warriors from the tribe of earth quickly built shelter to avoid the rain of lightning.
Datu Tlaloc doing the same but much bigger and sturdier, while Datu Shula continued on the offense.
Storm and Dagat, who also continued on the offense, are protected by Alex's forcefield which started showing signs of cracking again as Alex tried to inject more magic into it.
Then a beam of silver light shot through the air and hit one of the Fenrirs. And the one it hit happened to be the one who called the rain of lightning.
The moment it got hit, it lost its focus, causing the rain of lightning to stop.
'What the hell was that?' Alex thought, then an Idea came into mind.
"Buy me some time!" Alex called out to Storm and Dagat, who just nodded, unsure of what Alex is trying to do.
"Hopefully I still have enough magic," Alex whispered to himself as he cast his Domain spell that placed him under a dome that's under his command.
Very quickly he concentrated magic onto his hand, trying to condense it.
-Elijah's side-
The moment his [Big Bang Attack] hit the Electro Fenrir, the rain of lightning stopped. "That spell must require concentration." Elijah said to himself.
Then he remembered that guy he's helping, who for the most part, doesn't seem to have been injured by his stunt just now, so he quickly fetched him and assisted him until he saw Charlotte preparing to go out and get more injured.
"Hey Charlotte! Can you take him to the hospital?" Elijah waved at Charlotte to get her attention.
"Huh? Why? Just take him there yourself." Charlotte replied as she dropped on all fours, preparing to run.
"I can help them with the wolves, I can absorb lightning!" Elijah boasted with a grin.
Charlotte hesitated for a moment. "Alright fine, just be careful." Charlotte said with a defeated sigh. Not bothering to stop him as she saw first hand how Elijah absorbed the rain of lightning like a lightning rod.
She then went back to recovering the wounded while Elijah rushed into the heat of battle.
-Make shift Hospital-
Tree vines are still dropping herbs asked by Leslie found all around the immediate vicinity.
"Hey Leslie, mind helping me here? Just crush these herbs for me please." Joana who's now having trouble keeping up asked Leslie, who's just staring at the giant Electro Fenrirs.
"Hey Leslie!"
And with that, Leslie jumped out of her trance. "Ha-huh?" She looked at Joana confused, she didn't hear a single thing Joana said.
"I said, help me by crushing these herbs," Joana repeated, "And ask those water guys to add a little bit of water."
Joana then shoved a mortar and pestle, created by the earth tribe magic users, to Leslie.
Kristin who's mostly healed due to being prioritized by Joana is raring to go again, she would not take this defeat lying down, her pride wouldn't allow it.
"I'm going back!" She called out to Joana and Leslie then took off with wind magic boosting her speed.
"Wai-" Joana called out, "Ugh!!!" She grunted full of frustration.
"Screw this!" She smashed the mortar and pestle full of herbs to the ground, which took the warriors by surprise.
"I'm tired of this," Joana stomped the ground as she raised her arms outward. "[Mass Healing]!"
