As the man with the tattoo on his neck returns the one he used to call his destiny, his dead heart starts to beat again. 
"They are after me. They will try to kill you too"

"What…what is going to happen now?" Lun asked when Xan entered their room. The tall vampire had left a while after Kai did. He was asked to leave the royal family alone and all this time that he waited for Xan to come back he had paced the room again and again filled with anxiety.  


Lun closed the door and took off his jacket, throwing it on the bed. His slender fingers fondled the top buttons of his shirt and undid two of them, giving him room to breathe from the silky white material that was restraining him from breathing. He looked calm, expressionless as he looked at Lun.  


"They will have a royal announcement. Tomorrow we will hold a funeral. Her body was charmed so it wouldn't disappear, they wanted us to find it. Also her whole blood was drained, it is probably needed for the destruction of our world." he said flatly as if it was some kind of boring story he had read in a book. Lun blinked, he didn't know how to manage a reaction like this.
