After Lyra said everything she had to say, she discreetly looked up at Kaizer before returning to bury her face against his chest. The two were in bed alone and snuggled against one another.
"Was it too much?" She asked, worry dripping out of her words. "It's always too much with me, right?" Why couldn't she have a normal life? Everything had to get complicated with her. Sometimes she wished she hadn't remembered her past life.
"You are the best thing that has happened to me, love," Kaizer said as he kissed her on the scalp. "Never doubt that"
"Okay, Mr Charmer," Lyra chuckled.
He smiled. "I learnt from the best." his eyes softened as he reminisced about his childhood days spent with his parents. "My father used to say things like these to my mother"
