Rudy was shocked to see Eric cry like a baby. He couldn't remember when was the last time he had seen Eric crying. Although he felt relieved as Eric had woken up.
Once Eric had calmed down, he felt embarrassed to have shown such a sight as a high rank hero.
Naturally, Eric had questions, and he asked Rudy for details of the incident that happened last night.
"What is the last thing you remember?" Rudy asked calmly.
"Something hit us and we fell from the cliff. I had no time to react!" Eric responded in panic.
Rudy thought of an excuse for a moment and explained, "A huge boulder hit the car from the side and the car was thrown off the cliff. But fortunately, there was another flat surface next to the cliff and our car fell there.
I was unscathed, but you had lost consciousness. It might be because you were exhausted even before we took off. Anyway, some kind people helped me carry you back to the top and everything was fine."
