"Son I've found someone to train you to be a better King as I can't be of much help here " , seeing the confused look of jer son , he knew it won't be easy to make him agree her words, he simply can't stay away from her.
But that wasn't important at the moment, the only thing that was running on Queen Jene's mind was to make Levyndrion the best King for the kingdom of Ximpton. She can't afford to be hindered by emotions right now.
After a short while of silence ..... he finally opened his mouth staring down on the map "And why Dillonia? I'm doing great here, I have best trainers and tutors that you personally pinpointed for me. Just why do I have to go there mother?" saying this he lowered his eyes sadly before he continued "I can't leave you, no! I can't live without you mother " . Queen Jene moved to him and hold his chin raising his face to look at her "A King never let emotions run him over or else he would always make wrong decisions. A king never lowers hid head or else his crown would fall" she then held his hand and made him stand "Follow me son" they walked out in silence until to the royal greenhouse that was not far from the Queen's quarters, the two of them sat on a bench.
Prince Levy cut out a rose and gave it to his mother, she smiled "Son .... your father was a great King till his last breath, he stood with poors and riches and everyone else but one thing he forgot, he was too kind that he got back stabbed by his own people. I'm not telling you to be heartless but you have to be extremely prepared for what is about to come in the future " her face hardened to what seemed to be a distant memory displayed in her mind, her eyes glittering with tears.
Prince Levy frowned , this was one of the reasons why he couldn't live far from her, she seemed to still be distracted by his father's death that took place almost 17 years ago, he doesn't like to see her this way, somewhere in his heart it pained him and made him angered.
Sometimes he felt like confronting those murderous creatures and rip off their limbs and throw them into his wolf den for a feast, but there is nothing he can do right now he has no power apart from the tittle he held of a Crown Prince .
He used hid thumb to wipe her tears, and then placed his hand on top of hers which was on the bench, "I'll go mother.... of this is why you want and of it'll bring you peace then I'm willing to go" he noticed how his mother's face lightened up because of his words, although it troubled him to go to a new land, seeing g his mother's happiness was all he ever wanted.
She held both of his hands sniffing "Really son? " Levy nodded "Oh you've made the wisest decision my dear King! I bet you won't regret this and your uncle would he so happy to have you there after so many years " she kissed his palms continuously and Levyndrion couldn't hold in his smile any longer, he had a very pleased look.
"My dear Queen is so much like a little puppy right now shaking it's tail to her master " he teased her, he loved teasing the people who were dear to him, his mother and the old woman who used to be his nanny throughout the years wasn't an exception.
"Careful with your tongue, I'm still holding the power remember ..... don't say I never warned you" She said squeezing his cheeks, he winced and bowed "Pardon me your highness! but promise me one thing mother.... you will be writing to me from time to time cause only then I'll be at peace there leaving my beautiful mother behind " he gave her serious face as if they were making a big deal right now with a King from another Kingdom.
Queen Jene smiled , now that what she wanted from his son was accepted she was ready to make any deal with him, she planted a kiss on his forehead ,"Mmm mother would write to you I promise , thank you so much son" she pulled him for a long warm hug, her face couldn't mask the joy that she was feeling in her heart right now.
They finally pulled away "Now now.... I almost forgot that I have a court room to attend to, you should go and pack your staffs with your servants, and one more thing ..... you can take anything that you want with you" her smile increased to the peek of her eyes, "Anything?" that was what his mind caught first , Queen Jene got up and stood him up fixing his collar "Anything son" he smiled and gave her a quick peck on her cheek, "I'm taking Vincy with me " he narrowed his eyes to see what his mother would say about it . Queen Jene stayed quite for a second to give it a thought through, Prince Levy pouted "Mother you said anything ! come on I'll have a companion at least in a new land.... unless you want me to....." he couldn't finish his sentence his mother cut him off "Okay take him, I should get going now son , love you" She smiled leaving her .
"Thank you mama" he yelled with excitement and his mother waved a hand at him without turning back to look at him again, her mood was on cloud nine right now, very grateful that her plan was a success.
Levy made his way to his quarters to prepare for the journey, he only have today and will start to leave tomorrow morning.
Vincy was one of his childhood friends and a personal servant, his father is a head cook of the castle so that's how he got to be around Levyndrion, cause they too lived in the castle at the servants residence.
The two were so close to each other and are of same age , with Vincy going along with him , he thought at least he would feel like home at Dillonia Kingdom.
"Your highness my Queen, there have been some conspiracy going around down the villages, the citizens are putting the blame on our governance since they are told to pay two taxes two times now, the minister of wealth should explain this to everyone " paused an Oldman and turned only to receive a glare from the minister if wealth, but that didn't seem to bother him at all he adjusted himself and waited for the Queen's say about it, all other ministers were surprised by the matter .
"Mr.Lilof, I need an advanced explanation, a firm one about this all nonsense!" said Queen Jene and crossed her legs, sitting g on her majestic chair.
The minister of wealth stepped forward and bowed respectfully "Your highness the great Queen of Ximpton... I'm shocked by the news reported by the minister of Justice for even I'm not aware of the cheating that has been going at the market " Queen Jene chuckled pulling everyone's attention to her "Now now now .... are you saying your are not capable of your assigned Post?" she creased her eyes at him, she took a parchment and threw it down to him only to fall on his feet "Give me a solid reason why! or else you'll rotten in the dungeons Lilof!" The Queen roared,
Mr.Lilof fell down to his knees with an agitated look for what the hell he welcomed on his own life , "Your highness, I'm truly sorry for offending you, but I'm in the dark too! and I would like you to give me some time to interrogate my officials on the matter!" He pleaded with his life , Queen Jene closed hee eyes, she had a very good morning untill now sigh, she stared straight at Lilof, "Two days! Two days and you'll bring me details of it! your are all dismissed except for Minister of justice " she said , Mr.Lilof bowed continuously "Thank you my Queen for putting your trust on me " he turned to leave along with other Ministers and officials but before that he glared at the Minister who sold him off to the Queen.
The Minister of Justice and security stepped forward and bowed "Your highness " , Queen Jene smiled at him for bringing her such news, she felt joy to still have loyal people around her , "I want you to look into it too but in secret before he messes with the evidence " Minister of justice and security bowed, joyous for being entrusted on such matter by the Queen herself, "Yes your highness, I will right away" he raised his head and the corner of his mouth rised.
