Brilliant sunshine broke throughout the day, the rays sipping through windows making her squeeze her eyelids with a groan. Audrey's eyes flattered before fully opening with a wrinkle on her forehead, she turned to the other side so the sun wouldn't bother her anymore, but the sleep was snatched already, she woke up early that's too on her own surprising herself, well maybe by the sun. Her eyes wandered around her room for a while and all of her things were now in silver form .... just to her liking, "Perfect!" she mumbled feeling groggy, she turned her body around so now she was laying by width instead of length of the bed. A mischievous grin curling up on her fuller lips "One ..... two... three ..... GO!" she suddenly raised her legs up and flipped above her head, before reaching the floor she parted her legs and landed with a split with her eyes closed. "Yes!" she uttered, the rows of her white teeth on the view as if she achieved a gold medal.
She was startled by a series of claps, she opened her eyes and saw them .... her two newly assigned maids clapping and smiling with awe as if they've never seen such thing before. She chuckled shaking her head, 'So they were here this whole time?' seems like her senses are dulling lately, why can't she sense a presence?. What she failed to notice was that the maids came several seconds ago but were fidgeting on who to wake her up, so they stood outside the door waiting for her to wake up when feels like to, which she miraculously did early today.
"Wow! your highness is so flexible!" blurted Celine the one with blonde hairs "Yes! It was awesome what you did!" supported Chika a brunette, the poor two were flattered by a mare split .... What have they been doing in their childhood?. Audrey got up on her feet, her night gown fell to her down "Thank you it's called a split" she told them with a smile, their mouth forming an 'O'. Just where on earth did these two come from to be flattered by a split? she thought.
It was her brother Phelipe who taught her since she was ten, their parents scolded him afterwards because she have been doing the split everywhere ever since, not even caring if her dress would get ruined or anything, it felt so good trying it again after several years ago. "Where is Annie?" she questioned her gaze falling behind them if she could spot her, just like on cue Annietta entered the room before the maids could answer on her. "There she is " they said in unison making her eyes widen in wonder as she pushed her head back bit "Was I expected or something?" she faced Celine and Chika "Oh I was just checking on you" Audrey chimned in to save the two wondering when they would also get used to Annie, she shook her head.
"My Queen, I went to fetch some flowers that you mentioned for your bath" she kept the bucket filled with flowers down, Celine and Chika were both amazed, no wonder she is beautiful with soft and radiant skin. When they saw that she bath on milk water they were both surprised cause they've never seen such thing before and it's flowers too, just how modern is there Queen?.
Audrey bend down a bit and sniffed the flowers, a smile spread on her face, Oh how much I love this! she screamed within her, "Perfect! now let's wash up so that I don't delay for breakfast" she uttered to the bath chamber. "Celine .... prepare a dress for her highness and Chika .... you come with me" ordered Annie since she was in command for these two. "Yes miss Annietta!" they said in unison and parted ways going to their duties. Chika poured milk in a bath tub and stood aside, then Annietta took the bucket of flowers with were already fresh with only petals and clear of thorns, she spread them on the tub, looking like a colorful sheet covering the water. the two then turned their back on her, she slid down her night gown and stepped into the tub, dipping herself so now she was all covered with the flowers except her head. Celine and Chika turned and started to bath her, rubbing her skin gently with milk water, the scent was so amazing that she had to close her eyes getting drawn by it for a while. once she was done, she was escorted to the Royal dining room, the three of them stayed outside while Audrey made her way inside, just like the last day she sat on the right, Acine on the left with the devil on the head seat or then their husband?. Before she entered she remembers Annie telling her that it was a custom to take the King's hand and kiss it every time they greet. Custom my foot! she huffed in her mind and bowed instead "Good morning my King" she sat down, Acine didn't get up to greet her today which was disrespectful to the her, but she didn't care. "Greetings my Queen Audrey" she bowed with a forced smile. 'Stop trying so hard, who said I need your greeting?' she said within her mind smiling at her in response, however when she returned her gaze to the man, he saw his hand hanging mid-air directed to her specifically, she gulped 'You! You don't want me to kiss you now do you?' she screamed to herself.
"Rey ..... kiss my palm it's a custom" she heard his deep voice and all of her pillars broke to sand, Could he read my mind as well! Unbelievable! At times he hurts her and now he wants her to kiss hi damned palm! What a joke! she looked at his palm, his long and slander fingers adorned with several gold rings for a while. Acine chuckled "Lokks like my Queen is yet to be adapted to our customs" she took a sip of her tea without lifting her face, Audrey couldn't miss the sarcasm in her tone, she clenched her dress under the table 'This treacherous thing! is she testing my patient?' Levy sighed lazily..... just when he was about to pull back his hand, Audrey caught hold of it with both of her hands, she exhaled silently though her nose and placed a kiss on it, she felt a jolt, his hand is too warm. She pulled away smiling at Acine "I shall master all of them, I am the Queen after all" she fertile sticking out her tongue for looking down at her, Acine smiled back but it flattered with her sentence.
Levy then began slice the beef, it was not so dry quite juicy by the look of it, Audrey thought as she eyed the foods, the plates were decorated with some green vegs at sides 'It must be tasty' she licked her lips, just when she was about ot reach her fork ... Levy placed the plate of sliced meat before her surprising her to the core, 'Why? Why would he offer me instead of her?' she questioned her sanity cause she might loose it anytime, she didn't miss the dread look of Acine before she switched it up quickly.
Audrey stared at Levy as if waiting for him to explain to her what he just did.
"I remember aunt Ella filling my plate whenever we had dinner, I'm just copying her actions" he said and smiled curtly at her, Audrey pursed her lips filling her lungs with irritated air before smiling back 'What were you thinking Rey?' she scolded herself. "Thank you my King, you are too kind " even if she misunderstood his actions at first but still he sliced meat for her instead of Acine, she chuckled within her. 'I am one point ahead of you woman ' she too her fork like a happy little girl a eaten the meat, chewing gently savouring the taste. "How is it?" asked Levy who picked up a cherry from the fruits. Audrey closed her eyes, the meat was so tender and well cooked, it melted well on her mouth "Its delicious Levy, isn't it lady Acine?" she looked at her with her sparkling eyes, satisfied to the brim, not even noticing how Levyndrion was staring at her, it was the first time for her to address him like that since she arrived. Acine cleared her throat annoyed by the both of them 'Why was he looking at her like that?' she screamed within her "Of course! the chef is well renowned on the whole kingdom for his culinary skills my Queen" she praised even thought she never did so before, the maids that were standing on the sides were taken aback by her words, but hey didn't dare to raise their heads up.
Levy returned his focus on his plate, feeling the tension coming from his woman, "Errr .... my King .... I was wondering If I am allowed to roam sound the castle, I feel so bored" said Audrey sipping down her red wine in a silver glass, how considerate of Maria, she even hanged the utensils to silver for her. "Of course, you can Rey, except outside, if you want step out then you should inform me first" it was an order she felt how strong on his last sentence was, Audrey nodded, he face Acine on his left "How about lady Acine show you around the castle, she us quite familiar with every corner" he suggested to have both of the ladies stare at him "NO!" they both screamed in unison in their thoughts, Audrey wanted to retort right at his face and deny it but the woman cut her off after seeing her worried face, she took advantage of her misery "Yes my Queen, I'll show you around whenever you want " she smiled sheepishly at her, Rey smiled back 'This hideous being! Opportunist! Aaaah! I am doomed!" she screamed within her feeling ile strangling Levy for putting her into such situation. It was all his fault! Who said I wanted someone to show me around?.
